Advantages: excellent torque and performance and excellent chassis Disadvantages: riding position can be a strain after a fir bit of miles on a trip
.... In fact my dad rides a Suzuki GSXR-1000 K2 and he went out and bought an Akrapovic straight after he heard the difference between the stock exhaust on mine and then the aftermarket Akrapovicexhaust...
Since I have bought my Kawasaki I have added a steering dampener, braided front back brake lines, AkrapovicExhaust, smaller number plate and smaller indicators.
I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this bike and feel I definatly made the right choice over all the other 600 on the market. The close second choice for me was the 2003 to present version, Honda CBR 600RR......

Advantages: V-twin motor, suspension, comfort, ground clearens, no chain Disadvantages: Speed, but who want's to do 120km/h in the rough.
...I have been on a couple of big quad bikes like the Suzuki King Quad and Kawasaki's 750 Brute Force and I must say the KFX700 excites the most by far.
Open the throttle and on the back wheels it jumps.... V-Twin power rocks!! Top speed ±125km/h
No gears, means you can focus on the road.
Suspension and high ground clearens is where this quad outshines the looks of the Suzuki LTR450 and DS650 from Bom. Big bumps are absorbed with no fuzz and you’ll find yourself going over rough terrains faster than you would have thought possible.
Long and wide wheel base together with long travel suspension makes the steepest climbs or downs feel easy on this monster.
Less weighty than the 4x4 brothers and excellent handling.
Big bike that doesn’t look bedwarfed when ridden by big blokes!
Great bike for technical mountain-rides. Great bike...

Advantages: fast, light, cheap to insure and run Disadvantages: lumpy at low revs, needs good tyres and regular servicing
...will simply replace them with these and keep on rolling. The exhaust cans themselves are fine. If you do replace your exhaust, the Motad Nexxus 2-1 is a cost effective full replacement system. The centre stand and belly pan fairing can be kept on but access to the oil filter and sump drain bolt is tight. If you want to keep the original twin exhaust setup then the Jama Original costs slightly more. Or go for the Predator full stainless system if you really want to splash out. All these systems are road legal and don't require any changes to the jetting.
The rear monoshock suspension is still working happily despite the bike covering 36,000 miles. I'm hoping it will last another 10,000 before I replace it with a Hagon unit. I'm still on the original brake lines as well although the brake fluid has been replaced.
As far as upgrades go, I've fitted...

After 6 months of using Ubuntu on my laptop (Travelmate 220 - painful, I know), I decided a few days ago to change. One because I felt like it, and two the laptop really needed a cleanup. I dd a little bit of research, and narrowed it down to Fedora Core more
