.... In fact my dad rides a Suzuki GSXR-1000 K2 and he went out and bought an Akrapovic straight after he heard the difference between the stock exhaust on mine and then the aftermarket Akrapovicexhaust...
Since I have bought my Kawasaki I have added a steering dampener, braided front back brake lines, AkrapovicExhaust, smaller number plate and smaller indicators.
I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this bike and feel I definatly made the right choice over all the other 600 on the market. The close second choice for me was the 2003 to present version, Honda CBR 600RR......

...I bought a KawasakiZ750 back in 2004 new when they were first in th UK. I'm used to having big 1200cc bikes, and was a bit sceptical about buying, but the shop gave me such a good part ex on my older Honda 1200, I could not resist. The first thing you notice about the Z750 is how well it's made and the attention to detail, it's every bit as good as Honda's and BMW's. Many parts are made of an alloy, the exhaust system is all stainles steel, and all paint work is amongst the best I've seen - I've been riding bikes for the last 26 yrs. For all you techno's out there, the engine is a four cylinder fuel injected 16 valve motor which pumps out 115 bhp, which feels more like 130 bhp. From 4000 rpm to 10,000 rpm it pulled like a freight train, and there were still around 3,500 rpm till the red line! The engine sung, the exhaust note changed and the wind noise became almost unbearable.
1st, 2nd, 3rd and I looked at the speedo - how fast?!? and I had hardly noticed. This is one fast, licence losing machine that demanded respect. I eased on the brakes. One finger on the lever and the front end nose dived scrubbing off the speed almost as quickly as it has produced it. This was a true sports bike, despite it's massive size.
I turned off the main road down a twisty back road that was recommended by the bloke in the shop. The zx was effortless to ride. It was very flickable through every bend. It changed from left...

Looks, build, ease of use:
I brought this camera as an upgrade to the EXZ30, due to a substantial amount of overtime coming my way just lately. It cost £168 at Amazon and is fantastic value for money. My camera is the black version, which I have to... more
