Akrapovic Super Sport Line Open Exhaust - Yamaha YZF 1000 R Thunderace

Advantages: Eye catching style, Very good feel, Powerfull 600cc engine, Greate Storage Capecity

...Yamaha YZF600R is a Dream Bike, and it looks so stylish and strong bike. Anybody can fall in love with it in first sight! ya...its right. I really love this bike. Its a 600 CC SuperSport Motorcycle. Its inline 4 cylinder engine and 90 bhp (67 kW) the YZF600R Thundercat is a comfortable and road minded sports bike. Sumitomo One piece brakes also make it a good choice for track racing. The bike has one of the most comfortable seats and riding positions and good underseat storage area giving room for the toolkit, disklock and a decent lock and chain, and mine also had an alarm unit fitted which took up some of that space. the YZF600 is good safe choice which wont disappoint. I would recommend this bike over the R6 for a beginner's bike, because it will help you get a good feel of sportbikes before going to something... Read review

Advantages: excellent torque and performance and excellent chassis
Disadvantages: riding position can be a strain after a fir bit of miles on a trip

.... In fact my dad rides a Suzuki GSXR-1000 K2 and he went out and bought an Akrapovic straight after he heard the difference between the stock exhaust on mine and then the aftermarket Akrapovic exhaust... Since I have bought my Kawasaki I have added a steering dampener, braided front back brake lines, Akrapovic Exhaust, smaller number plate and smaller indicators. I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with this bike and feel I definatly made the right choice over all the other 600 on the market. Advantages: Quick, Fast, exciting to ride and stylish.. as well as Japanese and reliable!
Disadvantages: Twitchy front end on earlier models, needs stearing damper.

...I own a 1999 Yamaha YZF-R1 (1000cc) in V&M custom race colours (Red/Yellow flames and sponsors). I bought the bike just short of two years ago for approx £4,000 from a dealer. The bike had only done 4,500 dry miles (genuine as a good friend knows the previous owner) and the bike was/is in mint condition. It had been pampered, the previous owner is pretty well off and used this custom painted R1 as a show off machine more than anything, so straight away I knew I was on to a good deal as a lot of R1's have been thrashed and trashed since they are such a nutters tool! This model of R1 is not fuel injected but carbs, however my father does have the 06 fuel injected model and after a week or so standing in the garage and even after cold weather both bikes start first time, no hassle be it carbs or fuel injection!
