Advantages: Good value, a fair few features Disadvantages: Some people may require more features, not the best on the market
...I’d been a bit behind with DVD players for a while. I vowed I wouldn’t buy one when they were just out as they were too expensive. When I saw the record able one come out last year, I vowed I wouldn’t buy a DVD player (non-record able) until the record able one was cheaper. So, really I was being a bit of a cheap skate! So, when I got a brochure through the post and noticed a DVD/TV combi for under £100 I jumped at the chance to get it, because although it wasn’t record able it was still a great bargain. The make of it didn’t bother me, and I made sure it was more than a 12” screen (It’s 14”) and off I went to buy it.
I’m not the most technical of people so I’m not the best of people to be writing this review. I barely know anything about the ins and outs of the TV/DVD...

Advantages: High Speed Dubbing Disadvantages: Unable to Dubb from Hdd to DVD other than @ the quality originally recorded.
...The general useability & fairly intuitive menu system is quite good. The helpline promised to ring back twice & they did in fairness but the agent couldn,t answer a few of my queeries & promised to ring back again after speaking to they're technical staff. This didn,t happen .
One queery was that after finding the menu for setting the record quality (about 5 settings available on either HDD or DVD from HQ to SP all the way down to SLP).
Why when I set the DVD to SP in theory just over 2Hrs & some 10 or more minutes of recording space when I then selected to dubb a 2Hr HDD program it would not allow this as the recorder was telling me NOT ENOUGH SPACE ON THE DISK!
The helpline chap couldn't answer as to why there was a discrepancy & promised to consult the technical department & call back.
I now believe that as the HDD recording...
