more than working a door, carrying weapons and having a few fights. Oh, and fraternizing with some gangsters. As a book, it fails to take off, and is more like the life and times of a petty criminal.
Still, I can?t complain too much; this book was found on the pavement in the city centre by my wife, and after much deliberation she brought it home for me to read!
Anyway, this really is a boring book. Its one saving grace could have been that it gave a behind the scenes look at drug dealing and door-work, but it fails to do that. If you want something a bit more interesting and authentic, try Lenny MaClean?s ?The Guvnor?.
All in all, a weak book where a wannabe gangster with no real credentials tries to make himself out to be AlCapone the second. ...

The actual game view is pretty poor too. Using the diagonal above approach, you soon get disorientated as to where you are and how to get around. No marks from me.
Sound.
Good. The narration is fine as is the sound effects. All in the right place if somewhat lagging behind the action at times.
The in game music is a bit sombre too. Good selection of tunes though as they reflect the period well.
Gameplay.
Again, poor. The missions are easy enough to follow but the actual control and interaction with the game does need some work. I found it did not hold my attention for long enough and soon had me looking for the escape button. I have tried to persevere with it and try it when im in different moods but still end up getting bored with it.
