Advantages: Easy to use and Light Weight Disadvantages: Cable gets dirty and in the way
...With the on set of autumn I thought I would buy myself a leave vac. Sweeping up wet leaves from my drive, was sending me crazy so thought I would invest in a leave Vac and bought the Flymo vac and blow.
It comes in a box un assembled. It is rather easy to put together although the instructions that it comes with for assembly are awful and difficult to follow.
Once assembled the vac is easy to use. It has a slide button on top to switch between blow and suck and has a button on the handle that you hold in to start it as soon as you let go the vac stops, just the same as a flymo lawnmover.
There is a grey carry strap to put over your shoulder to help hold and support the vac.
The vac is electric and has to be plugged in it does a have a good length cable , but I found that in this weather when it seems to be constantly raining the wire...

Blown Out Review ofFlymo Gardenvac Plus Garden Blowerby
CumbrianSausage
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Appalling design leads to early disintegration
...We invested in this vac on the basis of a Which? Best Buy test (which it won). Well, we're no longer members of Which? because if this is an indication of the rigour of Consumers Association testing, they're less reliable than the weather. The Flymo is awful, the result of a major design fault. In order to use it properly, the smallish vacuum bag must be repeatedly emptied and repeatedly reconnected to the vac. But the bag is a fabric affair in a cheap plastic collar, and fitting the thing back onto the unit needs the patience of Job. Get it wrong, and not only does the bag not site itself correctly, the plastic fragments and the fabric progressively pulls away. Result? Large gaps appear between the plastic collar and the bag. . . through which all the debris collected by the vac is then pumped back out. Brilliant or wot?
In despair, we...

Advantages: Light, very efficient blower and vacuum facilities. Disadvantages: Bag a little small, and cumbersome to empty.
...With a big garden of nearly 3/4 acre, I hve a need for quality, reliable, labour saving equipment. Two years ago I decided I had had enough of constantly sweeping the drive of leaves and debris from the many trees in our front garden, and the masses of leaves over our garden as a whole.
I invested in a Flymo garden vac, and found that somewhat to my surprise, it proved to be very efficient at sucking up dry material. The blower also proved to be very effective at blowing leaves and debris into a pile. A third switch position gives a very powerful jet scourer, combined with a vacuum, which lifts leaves etc ground into the tarmac by the wheels of the car, and sucks them up in one operation.
The machine is very easy to use, and light enough to be carried over the shoulder using the straps provided without any discomfort. The only...
