Advantages: A-list horror authors contributing some of their best. Disadvantages: Not enough mixing of old and new voices.

This was a great adventure as I have come to expect from Cussler, and was a bit of a page turner, although not his best ever! I enjoyed the fact that Dirk Pitt senior and Al Giordino played the major roles, with his kids only playing a minor part, as they are my least favourite characters.
