Great UK Title on ADHD
Review of ADHD How To Deal With Very Difficult Children - Alan Train by
gailmill
Advantages: UK title, lots of useful information
Disadvantages: none
...This is an excellent title. A great starter book for any parent trying to come to terms with a child who displays a plethora of difficult and disturbing behaviours. What Mr Train's book brings here is to show parents (and the general public) that it is not their fault that their child might be hyperactive, impulsive and inattentive (not to mention many displaying other difficult and debilitating symptoms). What first struck me about this book was that Mr Train describes MY SON within the first couple of pages. He paints a scenario all to familiar to me (and no doubt to many other parents). After reading this I knew I wasn't alone. That other parents have children just as difficult as mine.
The book looks at treating with medication, how to help your child, home and school accomodations and much much more. It is an English title so...

Review of Spawn 8: Abduction - Todd McFarlane by
vikingpimp
Advantages: Alan Moore writes, Todd Mac pencils and inks
Disadvantages: You need to read previous issues

Spawn, the title character, is a demon with a finite amount of awesome power, sent back from hell to earth for training by the devil in charge of the realm, the Malebolgia. He used to be a goverment assassin, but was betrayed by his boss, resulting in his death.
Such as it is, he is hardly featured in this issue - it instead deals with a child killer called Billy Kincaid. Spawn killed him brutally...

Upon reading this book I found out so much more about ADHD than I thought I could. It has been very well laid out and has been put together fantastically. When reading this book you will understand that the Author has had many years experience with children with ADHD. He has helped me to understand what ADHD is and what techniques and strategies we need to help make the children of the world suffering from it.
Alan Train has written this book to help more people understand ADHD and what can be done to help you along the way. He very clearly explains the background of ADHD and what diagnosis can be used. I found that the solution part of the book very interesting and very useful.
Alan tries...
