Xbox 360

Advantages: Cheaper setup than PS3, better pad, best game selection, xbox live is amazing
Disadvantages: Paying for xbox live (after 3years of live, a PS3 works out cheaper), can be noisey, Wi-Fi is extr

Ok, here's a quick run down of my thoughts on the 360, probably throw in a few comparisons with the PS3, won't bother too much with the Wii since it's not really what I would class as a serious games machine, good fun in short spells or with "non-gamers" but that's about it. Had the 360 for a couple of years now, I was seduced by Halo 3 having been addicted to the first 2 games on the original, I'm a little bit of a FPS nut so I'm well covered with the 360 as that seems to be the systems main genre as it was with the original. It's probably been the most fun system I've owned since the dreamcast (class machine, sorely missed) or the mega drive (Genisis for anyone on the wrong side of the Atlantic). Main reasons for going with the 360? ok, it's initially cheaper to buy in the short term (works out more expensive over time with xbox ...

Review of Microsoft Xbox 360

Xbox 360

Advantages: Great graphics and Gameplay
Disadvantages: Not as good as a Wii for family play.

Being a playstation boy I've never bothered with the Xbox, however through boredom and impulse I found myself buying an Xbox 360 one day. To coin a Carlsberg phrase, the 360 is probably the best console around. The graphics are second to none and until sony can get to grip with what they really want out of the PS3 the 360 will remain streets ahead. It is available from around £180 upwards depending on system and game bundles you purchase with it with again leaves it extremely better priced than the PS3. The controller whilst more bulky than sony controllers fits nicely in the hand and the rechargeable battery pack is a must get addition. I would say however that although there is a great variety of games available for the Xbox 360 it is undoubtedly at its greatest when playing shoot 'em up's, games such as Halo 3 and Gears ...

Review of Microsoft Xbox 360

xbox 360

Advantages: great game play for all ages, online status, keeping in touch with friends for free.
Disadvantages: red ring of lights can appear very quickly, you have to wait weeks for it to be fixed.

The xbox 360 in my eyes is a brilliant piece of technology, My partner absolutly adores his console and is on it every chance he gets and this is a 28 year old man! My father also plays on an xbox 360 at the age of 40! I too have played a few games more to my taste and sometimes get so engrossed i forget how long i have been playing so i see how easy it is to get sucked into the game. Not only does xbox 360 have plenty games for you to play on they also have an online status you get your first 1 month membership for free to give you a taster then its a paid membership after that, Usually a 12 month membership to xbox live is about £29.99, This explores even more things to do once your online, you can also personlise yourself by having an avatar which you can change to your apperance and dresscode, A few weeks ago xbox 360 had a huge ...
