There are four main points to consider when purchasing a console. These are: 1. Software 2. Services 3. Hardware 4. Compatibility Software: Software comprises mainly of games. The games on offer for the Xbox 360 include Call Of Duty 2, Alan Wake, Kameo: Elements of Power, Perfect Dark Zero and Final Fantasy XI. Those are only five of a total of 40 out by the end of 2005, and considering that the Xbox 360 is only out for the last few weeks of 2005, that is a very impressive amount of games. Advantages: has a hard drive,HD ready, XBOX Live
Disadvantages: controllers require batteries unless buy an accessory, fan seems to loud at first

...The Microsoft XBOX 360 is a fantastic console, and that comes from experience! Having been bought the 360 as a gift at christmas, I find the XBOX 360 enjoyable The XBOX 360 boasts a standard 20GB hardrive, which can be easily ugrapded,if the user wishes to. The XBOX 360 also boasts a great online service, XBOX Live, which is free (silver) and can be again,upgraded to a premium service. The only downside to the XBOX 360 , is, when you first set up the product, the internal fan does seem rather loud. However, it only took me a few days to get used to the noise- now I hardly even realise the fan is operating . The XBOX 360 is also great graphics wise, as it an HD compatible console... Read review
