I brought this unit from Argos for around £80.But i think the unit Retails at at a few stores for around £40 in todays market.


I Have Owned this Product for around two Years now and it has not failed once and still in good working Order.

the Unit weighs around 5Kgs and the demisons are 9CM (H) 40CM (W) 30CM (D) Appox.


the Alba DVCR2 is a Unit with a DVD Player & Video Player combied.

The Unit can Support 5.1 Surrond sound Via DTS or Dolby Digital

The Video Player can support Auto Tracking, NTSC Playback and you can record on your video.

The DVD Player can Support A Varios range of DVDs,Picture CD but can not support VCD and SVCD which is a shame as many DVD Players can support this. the DVD Player has a problem with loading the disic sometimes but all you need to do is restart the unit then it works

The Unit has Built in Video Output when you can connect a Video Camera To trasfer it on to Video or have it as a spare output for a games console.etc

Overall I throught £80 was a High Price for this product as i expect so much more like VCD Playback and a Proper LCD Disply
