Alba DVDP 721

Advantages: Simple to use, cheap
Disadvantages: quite basic

...I received this dvd player as a gift from work. I knew they wouldn't have spent very much on the gift and was therefore expecting the worst from the player. However, I was pleasantly surprised. For the price you are paying this dvd player is perfect. It is simple to use, great picture quality and the sound is excellent. Some portable dvd players are far too complex for what the equipment is designed for - this is why the DVDP 722 is ideal. It does exactly what you expect it to do and there's no need to read instructions such is its user friendly design. This is a product I would definately recommend to potential buyers - especially if you are on a tight budget. Why pay more?... Read review

Advantages: portable ,affordable and it looks good
Disadvantages: no divx playback or case

...Having two kids and spending a lot of time in the car i need to find as many ways to keep them occupied and in turn keeping them quiet so i can concentrate on the important issue of trying to drive the car.The way i have found to be most effective on the longer trips is a portable dvd player and it works a treat. ...The "Alba 108" Is the perect present for anyone who is not looking to spend a bomb. This Small, versatile bit of hardware has many useses being able to play not just DVD's but also Plays; VCD's , CD's, MP3's, Picture CD's and Jpeg files. Alba 108 DVD player is also compatible with Dolby Digital, DTS and Kodak Picture CD's. The Remote Controler for the Alba 108 is very compact and slimline wich gives it a good grip and makes it very lite. I myself have a Alba 108 and have tryed other DVD players before but have found the Alba 108 to Best around for it's price. I have found the Alba 108 to be so up to scratch that i conviced my parents to go and take back there DVD player that they had just brought to go and buy an Alba 108 For just £30 From are local superstore "Tesco's"....
