Advantages: Price, good reception, good volume & has answer machine Disadvantages: Looks cheap, display is small, ringtones are bad
I bought the NTL VS2000 as I have NTL installed. I paid £60 for 4 phones.
On the plus side, the phone is cheap, has good reception and a good answer machine service. The phone is very light too. The phone has good volume.
On the down side, the phone looks cheap and is very plastic. The ringtones aren't great either. The display is small and isn't very clear. There aren't many features on the phone. It has a phone book to store numbers but I have found this quite tricky to use. The NTL VS2000 is very basic. The phone does go off on it's own every now and then. This is the 2nd set I've had and I've been told "this happens"
Overall I would rate this phone as satisfactory. If you're after a cheap set of phones and aren't bothered with style, fancy features or cool ringtones then these phones are perfect.
If you ...

Advantages: Dirt cheap, slimline, plays MP3's and CD's. Disadvantages: Not multi-region, remote will not last.
I am no technical wizard; I clung on to my VHS recorder for dear life until videos became virtually non-existent for the most popular films. I cared not whether it could play mp3's, CD's or STD's I just wanted a slimline, unobtrusive player that played a DVD from start to finish. As such finding the Alba DVD45 for a mere £27.99 in my local Asda was a Godsend.
Measuring 36 cm across and 5 cm high this is a surprisingly slimline DVD player. It is quite stylish for the price with a silver shell and black panel front. Setting it up is refreshingly simple and requires plugging the scart lead (supplied) into the back of the DVD player and then into the scart ...

Advantages: The ladder match, the Main event, the hardcore match Disadvantages: Much of the rest of it seemed like filler
The start of 2000 had seen a string of great action in the WWF (or as it's now the WWE), following on from No Way Out and Royal Rumble 2000 was the show case event of the year Wrestlemania 2000. With the absence through injury of Stone Cold Steve Austin the company had started to build it's self through the heel (bad guy) faction of the McMahon-Helmsley faction lead by HHH and Stephanie McMahon. And this was the main story going into the event though of course not the only one. There was the fall out of the Royal Rumble which had run as almost equal in the storyline stakes, whilst the 3 way tag team feud between Edge and Christian, The Hardy Boys and The Dudley Boys had escalated further. Whilst Kurt Angle had been winning the lower tier titles for fun holding both the European and the Inter Continental titles and the Chris' (Benoit ...
