    Advantages Advantages Softens hair.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Little thinner than some conditioners.

    One thing I take pride in is my hair, if I do not have clean hair or I have not washed it for a day or so, I do not tend to feel comfortable, I especially feel uncomfortable if I am going out for the day unexpectedly and have not had time to wash it etc, then I tend to feel really untidy in my appearance. I would not say I have fabulous looking hair but I do like it too look nice so I do look more presentable.     Advantages Advantages Green apples, gorgeous scent, helped keep hair tangle free.

    I purchased this conditioner when I brought the shampoo as I usually like to try and use things in sets wherever possible as I believe that these products are designed to be used in conjunction with one another. The bottle is clear plastic with a grey flip top lid and it has a fairly small hole in the top for the conditioner to be poured from. Because the bottle is plastic it's very easy to just squeeze the amount that you want without getting a whole handful. I used a couple of 50p sized dollops. Once I opened the lid I could smell the apples again (as I could with the shampoo) and I was very ... more

    After my daughter decided that actually she wanted to start conditioning her hair too, I had to stop buying the dearer branded one’s and opted for something a bit more affordable, hence this review! The product in question is - “Alberto Balsam - juicy green apple conditioner”. I have always had a real penchant for fruity scented body care products, so this conditioner was right up my street.     I am not at all brand loyal when it comes to shampoos and conditioners. In fact I think my hair responds best if I change the products that I use frequently. If I don't, any initial benefits given by the shampoo or conditioner seem to peter out. A few months ago, I decided to try Alberto Balsam's Juicy Green Apple Conditioner for normal/greasy hair. I thought it sounded a potentially pleasant scent, and I was also attracted to the price - £1 in Poundworld, for a 400ml bottle.     I first bought this conditioner a few months ago whilst in asda doing my weekly shop. This shampoo was on offer for 4 bottles for £3 which works out at just 75p a bottle! I bought this juicy apple conditioner, the apple shampoo and also the blueberry shampoo and conditioner. This conditioner comes in a clear bottle, so you can actually see in the shop the product in the bottle, and this conditioner is a light green colour, and it looked quite attractive on the shelf which is why I chose it. All the alberto balsam shampoos look bright and colourful, and I wasn't really expecting much from these ... more
