Alberto Balsam Herbal Conditioner Juicy Green Apple

I purchased this conditioner when I brought the shampoo as I usually like to try and use things in sets wherever possible as I believe that these products are designed to be used in conjunction with one another.

The bottle is clear plastic with a grey flip top lid and it has a fairly small hole in the top for the conditioner to be poured from. Because the bottle is plastic it's very easy to just squeeze the amount that you want without getting a whole handful. I used a couple of 50p sized dollops. Once I opened the lid I could smell the apples again (as I could with the shampoo) and I was very pleased with this. The conditioner is a light green in colour and I applied to all of my hair, paying special attention to the roots and the ends as I like my hair to be as tangle free as possible once washed, conditioned & dried. The conditioner applied very easily to my hair and I left it for a couple of minutes to soak in before I rinsed it off with cold water (helps to improve the shine apparently - seems to work!). My hair was very smooth and I found it easy to get it together to wring out all the water once I'd finished in the shower.

I suffer from sensitive scalp but I did not have any irritation when I used this in conjunction with the shampoo. The smell lasted a good day and on the second day my hair just smelt normal. My hair definitely did not greasy as soon as it does with some other products that I use so I can recommend this product to anybody who suffers with greasy hair or roots. I am going to be using this conditioner again (I have almost a bottle of it after all!) and I don't envisage any problems with using it all as normally if somebody disagrees with me it happens within the first usage and I find myself getting itchy scalp but I have not found this at all so far.

A 400ml bottle of the conditioner is currently £1.00 in Tesco with frequent special offers available and I think this is an absolutely fantastic product and I would advising trying the product out yourself and if you are unsure you could always just buy the shampoo or the conditioner to try out first and see how you get on. I have been using this on and off for a few years now and I just fail to get bored of returning back to a cheap product like this that actually works.

I was very pleased with both the shampoo & the conditioner so I am rating them 5/5 and would highly recommend them if you have sensitive scalp and hair that gets greasy pretty fast.
