First general information:
They come in light blue bottles and the shampoo, conditoners etc are white silky. The texture is really good. It was not too fluid and not too thick just about right. I used VO5 before, specially the Hot oils. You have to put a tube in the hot water for one minute and then massage it into your hair before washing. These always gave a great energy boost to my hair and is easy to wash out. They are available in single use tubs or a bigger tube for more uses. The single ones are enough for a medium length (shoulder) hair usually. If you have shorter or longer hair, the bigger tube for more uses is better, because you can close it. Whereas the others you just can tear off the top and not reseal.
They are a bit fluid which makes it hard to get everything in your hair sometimes. But good.

This one made my hair quite miserable for a few days. I put it on after washing my hair, as it promises to repair split ends. The first thing I felt after putting it on was like a slightly burning on my scalp. I could not stand to leave it on much longer.
To be fair, it stated on the bottle "your scalp may tingle slightly" but it was worse!
It comes in a 250 ml pump bottle which was okay to use, but I prefer the head-down bottles. Think it is a bit hard to handle to hold a bottle with a wet hand, pump with a second hand, and finally catch it with a third hand... :o)
After, washing out my hair it felt very heavy, sticky and soapy once it was dried. Also it was very hard to brush. It took another shower and another bath each with several hairwashes to get my hair back to normal.
I know different hair types react to different shampoos. I could not use my husbands shampoo without getting mine totally frizzy, whereas his hair looks the best with it. So I am sure this miracle rescue does do good for some users, but still I would not recommend it. Specially if your skin is sensitive as well, you might want to leave it in the shelves.
The shampoo & conditioner come in bottles, the conditioner in a head down bottle.
A week after the miracle rescue disaster I started to use the VO5 Shampoo and conditioner again. By now my hair feels much more softer again then before. It reduced the frizz and added shine.

This conditioner is slightly thicker then all the others, but I always found it good to work in and to give my hair a big improvement.

I haven't seen that one very often recently. I wonder if the silk serum will replace it. Consistence is quite similiar.
This is a leave-in conditioner and I can really recommend that one. It comes in smaller bottler (150ml) is easy to use. You massge it into your towel-dry (or dry) hair and style it as usual. My hair felt really good with it. Not too heavy and not too light. Just right. AND even my husband commented how silky and shiny my hair looked that evening, without even knowing I tried out something new. And girls, we all know, men don´t see those things very often :o) (no offend boys) so it must have made a big difference! I did stock up on it on the Buy 1 get 1 free offer immidiatly!

...used two products from the Alberto VO5 hair care range and found both to be excellent value for money.
I have used the VO5 hot oils, £3.99 for a pack of four, of which I use once a week for intense conditioning. I have written a review about these previously so I won't go into a huge amount of detail, but you basically warm a tube in hot water for a minute, put it onto wet hair and leave for a minute, rinse then shampoo as normal. There is a huge ... ...money.
I also use Alberto VO5 perfecct lengths shampoo for mid to long hair. I paid roughly £1.30 for a 200ml bottle. I thought this is a decent enough price for the shampoo if it's going to work, but I found the price can vary up to about £2 depending on where you buy it. Anyway, the shampoo is easy to use, no different to any other shampoo, wet hair, lather and rinse thoroughly.
I also think this is great value for money, considering my hair ...

I first heard about the VO5 Hot Oil treatments through a friend who's cousin uses them. I have to say they are great. My hair is at times dry and damaged due to the time i spend straightening my naturally curly hair. When i use the hot oil treatments i do notice a heen straight away and it lasts for days. I tend to use them about once a month or so, as you don't need to use them that often. You wet your hair, then put the oil, which has been in a ... ...a while, then rinse. You can then proceed with your usual washing/conditioning routine. Also, the VO5 deep conditioning hair mask is cool, and leaves your hair silky soft. It's more time consuming as you leave it on for three miutes, but the results are worth it. Again you only need to use it once a month or so, and you can use it aswell as your usual shampoo/conditioner.
The prices are also very cheap, from 99p to £1.29.It's deffinately worth your ...

Advantages: Great smell, and good lather Disadvantages: hair sometimes feels a bit dry
I really love the smell of this product, but what's best is the amount of lather - not too much so thats its getting in your eyes, but enough to make you feel like you have really clean hair! It makes my hair feel clean, soft and shiny, although the conditioner could do with being a bit more conditioning. I treat my hair really badly though - highlights, hairdryer, and straighteners - so maybe i'm asking for too much! They do have a good range though, ... ...and well designed - I seem to manage to get every last drop from the bottles. It's definitley the best brand of haircare i've tried. It always seems to be a case of the 'grass is greener' when i've tried others - I always seem to end up using VO5 again! ...
