Vo5 Curl Booster Styling Mousse
£2.65
When I was young(er), my hair was poker straight. Bit ironic now that I have to use straightners to achieve that look I took for granted when I was knee high to a grasshopper. But never mind, I’m not one to moan.
When I reached my teens, along with raging hormones, my hair started to curl of its own accord. My dad has very thick hair and its curly, but it just took a while to show itself on my head. Now my hair is very long and very curly. If it just washed and left it, I would like Coco the clown, not a pretty sight. So after washing it with L’Oreal of course, I apply a good handful of VO5 to my wet hair, a blob just wouldn’t cover it for me!
If I have time I will blow dry it and this keeps the frizzies down even more, but I’m always rushed in the morning so I just rub in the curl booster and leave it to dry naturally. The result is good, no frizzies and no unruly curls. I don’t even need hair spray, as this is enough to keep my long hair where it should be and not all over my face. It’s also got a UV filter so protects your locks in the sun. It’s quite a flexible product as it states on the bottle you can even use it on dry hair to revamp your look. I have always used it on towel dried hair so cannot comment on this. It does work just as good with your diffuser if you are scrunch drying though. It seems to put a seal on your hairstyle and gives it a lovely shine. It’s not too sticky and by the end of the day it’s easy to brush the remainder out. It washed out in an instant. I also find there are no unsightly white flakes on your scalp as some curl boosters leave behind.
Tesco sell it for £2.75 but I noticed Boots have it for £2.65. Superdrug is the one to watch for as it’s always on BOGOF there and that’s why I buy four at a time. The canister isn’t that big to store away a bulk buy. Its 200ml of contents should last a good week for long hair though. It’s also suitable for flyaway hair, helping to control it.The smell is just right, not too over powering.
I find it brilliant on my thick mop and have used it for many years. I have tried so many products over the years and nothing has worked as well for me as this VO5 product. I cannot thank them enough.

Good review about a product I'll never need - my hair was really straight as a child, but when I hit puberty, it went kindof nondescript wavy-ish, a pain to style, to I wear it short now. Take care - Cate
