Advantages: Image adjustments to give great view, waterproof, adjustable eye-relief Disadvantages: fixed magnification, average build and design quality
...use a high-density Bak-4 prism, which accounts for the lens and prism quality. Olympus have taken great care in the mechanical and alignment quality of these binoculars, although its design quality is not very good. The high-density Bak-4 prism as well as the good mechanical and alignment quality of these very binoculars means that it produces bright, high contrast and fairly sharp images. The very good mechanical and alignment quality means that very light components have been put together with precision to produce an overall light piece of kit.

Advantages: Unparralled Optical Zoom, Bright Colours, User-Set Options Disadvantages: Manual Focus controlled with buttons as opposed to lens ring
...(clear and informative)
-Batteries (a bit short lived but will do the job for a few days)
-16MB xD Photo Card (fine at 2MP setting can hold about 25 photos...)
-Warranty Card (to be filled in and sent away)

One more thing that bothers me: the Manual Focus is controlled by a tricky combination of multi-use buttons, as opposed to a Lens Ring as others do... This is fiddly at first (I have almost mastered it now!) but with an auto focus (continuous or on shutter...
