Advantages: Good value for money Disadvantages: received calls, sound rather woolly
...This phone sits snugly enough in the palm of the hand. It tips the scales at 150g. Using the phone’s menu system is straightforward, once you get used to where everything can be found. Although the facilities and bodywork on this phone are very similar to that of Alcatel’s Max and Easy handsets, the View provides a larger LCD screen. The screen, however is not that large, only four lines are used for text display. At the very most 56 characters can be seen at a time. I rather think that the WAP services are undoubtedly the main reason why anyone would be interested in this phone - the phone does not disappoint here. The phone also helps you save money, as you can hang-up from internet calls instantaneously with a long press of the ‘clear’ key. As a pre-pay handset, the Alcatel offers very good value for money....

Advantages: Allows additional handsets to be added. No aerial. Large address book capacity. Disadvantages: Handset looses sight of base unit, if power has been off for a long time.
...The 4010 is a good middle market digital home phone, it was easy to set up and the instruction manual well put together. I purchased an additional hand set which was easy to install as well. Unlike other cordless phones I had in the past, the hand set sits neatly and securely into the base unit, with an audible alert letting you know that it’s seated correctly and charging.
The depending on use the handset will last a whole week before needing charging back in the base unit. The choice of ring / alert tones for both the base unit and hand set are good. The functions are good and all menu driving, the phone book is good and allows enough text in the description field to give your phone numbers a name that makes sense. Although it would be nice to be to clone the phone book between handsets, otherwise you have to set up the phone...

Advantages: Small, lightweight, Stylish and looks good. Disadvantages: Processing speed is very slow.
...Hey there.... I am using this alcatel One Touch 511 mobile phone which i really like, but unfortunately there are certain points about this phone which makes me hate it.
* Processing speed of messages and searching of names in the address book are damn slow. ( Well i went through one of the guys review on this forum as he says that the users should have patience. But for his information we dont use phones for fun but for a real necessity).
*Poor graphics and i am unable to do picture messaging with any of the other phones than alcatel 511.
*Love the polyphonic tones but unfortunately the volume isnt enough.
*Searched all most all the sites available for 511 ring tones but none of the alactel notes are compatible for this phone.
*No equipment available t listen to radio although the radio option is available. (Alcatel hasnt...
