...Hey there.... I am using this alcatel One Touch 511 mobile phone which i really like, but unfortunately there are certain points about this phone which makes me hate it.
* Processing speed of messages and searching of names in the address book are damn slow. ( Well i went through one of the guys review on this forum as he says that the users should have patience. But for his information we dont use phones for fun but for a real necessity).
*Poor graphics and i am unable to do picture messaging with any of the other phones than alcatel 511.
*Love the polyphonic tones but unfortunately the volume isnt enough.
*Searched all most all the sites available for 511 ring tones but none of the alactel notes are compatible for this phone.
*No equipment available t listen to radio although the radio option is available. (Alcatel hasnt...

...The Alcatel One Touch 511 is an excellent little phone. it has a small screen with a green backlight. The text on the screen is fairly sized for people to read it. The keys are nice and round and easy to press are far apart enough not to accidentally press other buttons. This phone has lots of features including: voicemail, SMS, sound, Alarms that can be set to wake you up, remind you of appointments and other important dates, it allows you to record voice memos, it has FM Radio that can be switched on and off. A calculator and currency convertor. It also has WAP availability. There is a small selection of games, and ringtones. There is also a vibrate option. The accessories that are included with this phone are a standard charger, cigar lighter charger, basic car kit, easy to install hands free car kit, antenna kit and a headset...

This phone, brought to you by Alcatel is a great looker and a small, dinky, cute little phone! The functions are reasonable but, of course are no match for standard Nokia phones.
