...All this means that this alcatel mobile is really ease to use. It has, as you can see looking at the photograph above, the 0 to 9 numbers (to the phone numbers), the *, and the # buttons. And then, you have four more buttons.
The first one, at the left of the mobile (still looking at the same photograph) is the button with wich you can have acces to the sms menu, in wich you can choose writting a message, reading, keeping, cleaning, ... ...by pressing the button for a short but continuated while (a second would do).
The button you can see at the right is the button you have to press when you receive a call (only if you want to pick up the phone, of course), and also pressing the same button for a second you will get to the "calls menu", where you can see the phone calls received or made.

Of course this mobile is not a good one if we compared it with the nowadays ones. This mobile is not a colourful screen (I´m not sure about this word...), has no special logos or music, and the thing is that this mobile is good for calling or sending sms, but nothing more. But this is not because this mobile is a bad one, is just because is very very old (one of the firsts cheap mobiles, at least in Spain).
All this means that this alcatel mobile is really ease to use. It has, as you can see looking at the photograph above, the 0 to 9 numbers (to the phone numbers), the *, and the # buttons. And then, you have four more buttons.
The first one, at the left of the mobile (still looking at the same photograph) is the button with wich you can have acces to the sms menu, in wich you can choose writting a message, reading, keeping, cleaning, or whatever. There´s a instant acces to the messages received, by pressing the button for a short but continuated while (a second would do).

The "c" button is the one that turn on/off the mobile (agaian, pressing it for a sec), and it also erases a character if you are writting a sms.
Finally, there´s another button that leads you to the main menu. In this main menu there are no games, no special melodies or sounds (just the ones that originally have this mobile), no special pictures or logos, just the classical personal opcions (like tones, volume, melodies, light, contrast, languages and some other stuff). So this mobile gives you the chance of writting short messages and calling (also receiving both sms and calls). And nothing more. But the thing is that the mains functions of a mobile are perfectly done by this one, and a few years a ago, It was one the best mobiles you could get. The price was maybe too high by that time, but It become cheaper and cheaper year by year. I remember my sister paid €150 when she bought it, and a year later, I just paid €90. The last time I saw this mobile in a shop it was at a cheaper prize, €50(less than 30 pounds of yours).
Anyway, the options of the main menu are:
- Tones: Inside this option you´ll find another ones, like mode, key tones, sms tones and timbre (all about the different sounds and melodies of the mobile, and the volume, etc etc.)
- Watch: and inside this option: day and time, date and format.
The look of the mobile is not exactly nice. It´s too big, and if you get it, too heavy (again, it was good size and weight on it´s time, but not today), but this mobile is the most durable and robust I,ve ever had.
The reception quality is good enough, I never had a problem, but that depends on the mobile itself and on the mobile company you belongs to. The battery is one of the worst things of this mobile. I was lucky with my alcatel, but I've seen too many people clompaining about the battery of alcatel, the brand, but specially this One Touch Easy. When you get out of battery with this mobile, you´d probably need 5 or 6 hours to get icompleted again.
My final opinion is that this WAS a good mobile, but today, not being a bad one, is not a good one, or, simplifying, this mobile was a good one, but now is obsolete. Very obsolete. And that's why I'd say I don´t recommend it to you (I would have done 5 years ago, but not today...)

Today i wanna talk about this mobile phone...
OK, it was my first mobile phone, but i think that it's a good choice for our child ( 10 - 14 ).
It's a little bit heavy, cos it have a set of 3 battery like normal battery, and also you can use 3 normal AA battery to let your mobile phone work.
Here a little brief of advantages and disadvantages :
Advantages :
- It work also with normal AA battery
- It's battery let you haven't to recharge ... ...strong
- Never Broken ( it fall down 2 times from my hands and no broke.... )
Disadvantages : - Too heavy
- High signal of radiaction ( monitors and speakers let you know how much it interfere with other components -and also our body- when someone call or when it try to update its line status )
- Too big
At the end of all, is a good phone. One of the first generation (for sure), but at least one with good range of field and very reliable (work ...

I first brought this phone as a present for my daughter, but after seeing it I feel in love with it, and had to have it myself. Its slim, sexy and really fashionable. It cost around £80, and was a bargain compared to all the other prices that I had seen it at. The phone has 130 hours of battery standby time and it charges up real fast compared to most other phones. It has a choice of 15 ring tones and has a clock with an alarm and an appointment ... ...names and numbers, and the phone has a built in hands free speakerphone.
It is a fairly modern phone and is one of the best phones out, however with the rapid increase of mobile phone technology that phrase no longer applies., although I am happy with mine as it is easy to use.
The only disappointing thing about the phone is that the volume control is on the side and if you lean on it by accident it adjusts the volume and makes the phone ring silent, ...

Looks like I thought my mobile was really cool! From the looks of it all the other peeps who have reviewed this phone have made negative remarks! Um... Well I don't thik its bad. I think its kinda cute (thats actually why I bought it!) I like the bulkyness of it and I thik its quite snazzy! I really like my mobile. It even came with a lovely charger thing! Ok it plugs in but it has this lovely little stand thing so the phone doesn't lie ... ...case. I like how the phone has volume buttons on the side of the phone so you can change the volume while you're speaking to a person. (This is very useful!) The phone has a phone book, message service (message alert), cool tunes, and more.
The phone is easy to use (and very cute) and I don't care whether the letters are all in capital its still a cool phone :) ...

Advantages: battery replacement Disadvantages: heavy and poor reception
My very first mobile was an arcatel one touch easy. Initially it looks so cool and compact to me. I thought the battery was cool where you can just buy any AA size battery and replace the original one when it runs out of charge. Overall, I will say this is a poor quality phone. The reception is not at all good. Function wise, nothing special. It is heavy as well. On the looks, it looks o.k. If anyone want to buy a new phone avoid this. There are ...

In total hallo, I wanted to write today via my beautiful Handy that I have now had for somewhat less than 6 months. Actual have I already a newer model but that only for last week, so that I now still can write no field report over it.
Differently however, Handy old with mine. It was six months my loyal companion, to I me then once through struggle, to buy a newer for me.
In this case, onetoucheasy dB sells itself around the Alcatel. It is already a very old model but it was not really bad for my first Handy.
Before I received the Handy in a given manner, never interest actual I me strangely phones electronic for these small ones; said better, I even have me many a time amused via the whole Handywahn in Germany. However, I also make that today if one learns of studies, actual after what via 70% of the 12-19 abrupt ...

This handset like %100 of phones out now this phone is SMS compatible which means that you can send messages in text to other mobile phones.Text messaging from the pay and go phones are 10p per message for BT cellnet and 12p per message for Vodafone.Unfortunetly this phone has only 1 line display which makes text messaging a bit of bother.
Reception quality on this particu;ar handset wasnt all that bad but i had mine on the One2One network which is genrally good reception wise.
The AlcatelEasy DB onetouch looks a bit cheap and tacky even though its quite small it is quite wide.The Alcatel fits in your hand nicley but is ugly compared to rivals.You can buy this handset in even clear green or black.
This handset could only be bought on the One2One network ...

The phone has 15 equally annoying ringtones oddly enough including one called 'speed' that is based on a thrash tune by Slayer and all the usual phone number / speed dial features that you find on most phones. It also has the ability to run from batteries if your power runs out and your charger is elsewhere. I can't imagine that the batteries would last long but i haven't tried it yet as it only takes about an hour to charge the supplied battery which then lasts me for about 3-4 days. The phone also has some rather nifty buttons on the left hand side that are perfectly placed for using to scroll up and down the menus without blunting the end of your finger by stabbing at the buttons on the front. Text messaging is as easy as it ever is ...
