Alcatel - Phone battery 1200 mAh

...I bought a alcatel 525 from virgin megastores I brought it home and charged it up it must be charged for 16 hours to get the full battery life out of if.It was fully charged when I got up the next morning.I turned it on to be greeted by a musical tune.At first i thought it was a great phone but 8 weeks later the screen went all blury and you could not see it.However we rang virgin mobile up and the next day i recived a brand spanking new alcatel 525 9 weeks later the screen went exactly the same as before we rang the virgin help team up and they told me i could swop it for a diffrent model great i thought now I own a nokia 3410.... ...the alcatel max db is a very good looking phone with a sexy shape and colourful buttons.I have had mine for a couple of months now which is long enough to give it a good trial, and i can report it works well with no downsides.The battery life is 5 days on an hours charge thats using it for about 15minutes of calls and messages per day.You get a choice of 20 ring tones and there is a speaker facility. i am on the virgin network which is also excellent .ithink a combination of the alcatel and virgin takes a lot of beating.Tthe phone only cost £39.99 with £10 of calls included purchased fron sainsburys but you can purchase them in a variety of shops now and online too at www.virgin.com and go to the mobile phone section... ...Some time ago I bought the Allocate-one-touch-max, basically only because I needed a second mobile phone. The good thing about this one was that you can also use batteries. After having read the rather complicated owner's manual, I realised that the handset was better than I had expected. The menu is clear and easy to use and has many useful functions that were of a real advantage to me, as I travel a lot. It is possible to send a fax via the phone, and even if the phone's rechargeable battery lets you down, it is alright, as you can pop in just any ordinary one. The changing over between the batteries is a little bit difficult however. The only complaint I have would be that Alcatel's service for original pieces is really slow.... Read review
