This mousse is ideal for creative blow-dried hair styles as it gives your hair strong, elastic hold and adds more volume. Alcina Modelling Mousse has a strengthening effect making your hair feel stronger. It contains conditioning agents, which make your hair silky and smooth. This Alcina Modelling Mousse has particularly fine consistency that is easy to distribute, allowing the active ingredients to reach every single hair to create a healthy shine. Directions of Use: Shake the can well Hold nozzle downwards Depending on your hair length, apply 2 to 4 walnut-sized portions Use a comb or brush to distribute evenly throughout your hair Style your hair as desired Don't rinse out
Advantages: it does what its supposed to-it holds your curls in place Disadvantages: mousse always gives your hair that crunchy feel
...its a problem that has baffled man for centuries: just how do you keep curls curly wihout all the frizz???It always looks so easy on those tv adverts when the models have beautiful bouncing curls, but it just doesnt happen in real life now does it?
Well, that's what i thought, until i tried this mousse by shock waves from wella. Its a common known fact that the girls in the adverts actually have straight hair, and they have to sit in a hairdressers chair for hours crimping and styling to get that kind of curl, but for us natural curly tops, what are we supposed to do? Having very coarse curly hair myself, i've tried just about everything on the market to de-frizz, but nothing seemed to work. Not wanting to get rid of my curls, i turned to this new mousse. Unlike other mousses that i've tried, this kept my curls in shape the entire day...

Advantages: Neat and not messy, low odor compared to cream, easy to apply even to the backs of legs Disadvantages: The foam went airy and runny after several minutes so stay in the bathroom. Burned in sensitive areas (underarms)
...which I found surprising and felt no pain while waiting for it's eight minutes to be up.
Towards the end the foam began to wilt, the bubbles popped and the mousse started to get very flat. I was worried that it may drip on my floor so I jumped into the shower and stood there for another minute and a half. The mousse rinsed off easily and I used the little sponge to gently rub away and loose hairs like the model does in the advertisement.
Feeling confident I decided I'd try this on my underarms. This was not as pleasant an experience. I felt a stinging almost immediately, but having had success on my legs I endured. This was a BIG mistake. I ended up with a painful rash and a week and a half later the hair on my legs was back. So much for three weeks!
I'm not comletely satisfied with this product and would assume it would perform worse...

Advantages: Easy to apply, and lasts for ages! Shades are very flattering. Disadvantages: It's going to disappear!
...Like other reviewers, I was seduced by the picture of the model in the brochure sporting the Soft Mousse eyeshadow, and bought two of the colours, Pacific Pearl and Silken Sand. I
n the past, I've found that creamy eyeshadows feel great when you put them on, but soon crease into the lids. Therefore, I wasn't expecting a lot from the mousse formulation, thinking it would be best for evenings out, not all day use. I was utterly wrong!
The shadow stays put all day. Not only that, but it feels really luxurious and comfortable when you apply it. I have tried applying the shadows using both fingers and a brush and had good results using both methods.
The bad news is that Avon will soon be discontinuing the Soft Mousse Eyeshadow! Already they have limited the shades available to:
*Pacific Pearl - a shimmery light cream shade...

When it comes to being different, maybelline's new dream matte mousse definitely deserves a reward. With it's unique little glass bottle packaging and it's strange mousse texture, this is a foundation that is set to be huge worldwide.

I have been using this mousse for the last two months.
The thing that I love most about this mousse is that it is alcohol free. In my case that means that I do not have an allergic reaction when I use it.
Another great thing is that the bottle is... more
My daughter picked this book out at the book store and after glimpsing at some of the pages, I decided that it looked like a fun book, so I bought it. I also noticed that the book was written by Julia Donaldson, who is one of my favourite children's... more
