Advantages: Cheap, effective and does the job as well as expensive products
Disadvantages: An irritant as it contains sodium hypochlorite so safety measures and protective clothing are necessary.

I use Aldi Citrus Thick Bleach and at 12p find it very good value for 750ml. It is Biodegradable which means it is Environmentally Friendly which is very important nowadays. As a cleaner and disinfectant it is very good and I use it on sinks and basins, the toilet, drains, cleaning grouting in the bathroom and kitchen and for stain removal on white materials. The label gives clear instructions for use and the correct dilution rates for each job ...
...Another plus point for the Aldi bleach is it states on the label that if not completely satisfied with the product it can be returned to the shop where purchased and they will be pleased to replace it and statutory rights will not be affected. Don't expect much for your 12 pence!!

Advantages: No danger of inhalation poisoning
Disadvantages: Very weak - not much cleaning power

I don't shop in Aldi's very often but I go about once every 2 months for tinned goods because they are such a good price. On one occaision I pickud up a bottle of bleach as I'd run out that morning and it saved me going to another supermarket. It was very cheap (about 12 pence I think) so I thought I'd give it a go. I thought it was very weak, it didn't have any cleaning power at all. It didn't even make my hands itch like most others do. Whilst ...
...love a really strong bleach smell in my loo's! This bleach however didn't even have a nice smell to it. It might be advisable to use if you suffer allergies from cleaning products or if your children might come into contact with it (for those of you who have children obsessed with playing near toilets), but other than that I wouldn't bother - even at 12 pence! ...
