A trip to our local Aldi’s is an uncommon thing for me and the missus, not because the shop is extremely basic with no luxuries (hence the supposed low prices), not because the queues are long enough to be as tall as the London eye if turned upwards, not even some of their products leave a lot to be desired, but simply because it’s the wrong side of town.
Aldi’s has been in our home town for some years now (about 7 I’d guess at), and proved popular ... ...mostly the quality was good. However as the years seem to have rolled on, and Aldi’s has established itself as a low cost supermarket things have changed. I have found the quality of goods has diminished, the prices have risen, and staff are still as rude.
However, I had a new electric scooter, so we choose to see if anything was New at Aldi’s. They used to sell a delicious sliced fruit loaf, but alas the one they sell now compares miserably with ...
