Advantages: Can be fast when in the mood.Very experienced Disadvantages: Lacks motivation sometimes.
Jean Alesi,currently driving for the Prost team is a highly experienced driver,who when he first entered Formula I was being tipped as a potential world champion. There are times when Jean can be very quick,when he can overtake drivers in arguably more powerful machinery and there are times when he drives in a disciplined way. There are also,unfortunately times when Jean Alesi appears to lack interest,to be undisciplined,to seem to be moody and frankly not motivated.
Arguably Jean Alesi has been unlucky in that rarely has he had one of the best cars or been in the best team.However, he certainly appears to be something of an enigma!. Despite over 160 starts he has only won one grand prix and I dont frankly think he is going to win any more. ...

Advantages: Style, temperament and a well needed character for the sport Disadvantages: needs more testing when it becomes avaliable to gain knowledge of the car
Jean Alesi is a great driver who drives with every ounce of passion and desire as his begginings in the 1989 Tyrrell. Now in the Jordan, he looks around 25 in the overalls, hes got the desire and a car that he can demonstrate his brilliant racecraft and potential as a hard racer.
His last fewcars have been disapointing, Saubers and Prosts, but hes managed in the main to squeeze something out of them and has never given up on the desire to compete. His celebrations after minor point`s scores this seasons races show how even small achievements, light the fire of his competitive edge
Now even though the oldest on the grid, he still wants to race, unlike Damon Hill who was just there to pick up his pension money, he is in a top team and , if he`s offered a contract there for next season he copuld be a race winner again if Jordan can ...

Advantages: Great Skill and Heart. Disadvantages: went to the Wrong teams at the wrong times
The man who never recieved the rewards that he deserved. This man gave it his all and yet failed to pick up a championship. Whats even more unbelieveable is that he only won a single Grand Prix in his 11 year quest for the crown. Despite this Jean Alesi is still rated as one of the top 50 drivers ever to have competed in the top ranks of Motorsport, i.e Formula One. In my eyes though he stands in the top five as one of the Greats.
Meeting Jean Alesi
I have been a fan of Jean Alesi for years and I have been to a few British Grand Prix. But I am also in his fan clun and had the pleasure of meeting him at Silverstone for a track day out. He actually paid for the meal for me and the other fans and lots of Drink. We had a few chats and i think he is just the greatest person.
