Alex rider-Snakehead-A darker book
Review of Snakehead (Alex Rider Adventures) - Anthony Horowitz by  sebby-08

Advantages: brilliant to read very involving
Disadvantages: complex plot

...Snakehead by Anthony Horwitz. A brilliant book, to put it in short the final in the Alex Rider series and in my opinion the best. This book seems to be a notch up from the rest in reading quality it has a darker feel to it and its seems much more for adult. It continues straight away from the previous book Eagle Strike a great book to read as well. Alex has just come down from space in the return shuttle. From being picked up by the army and then on things just seem to get worse and worse for Alex(as always with the Alex ride books. The book is a lot more complex and has a lot more twist and surprises than the other books and it finally at the end reveals the biggest secret of all the books. But I am not going to say it because it would spoil it for all of you who haven't read it. Alex rider defiantly becomes more adult and moves... Read review

Alex Rider grows up
Review of Snakehead (Alex Rider Adventures) - Anthony Horowitz by  otsanzy

Advantages: great book, good storyline, lots and lots of action
Disadvantages: you will mss a few meals while reading the book

...I picked up this book as soon as it came out and finished it within a day, which i dont do often with books. However, the Alex Rider series has always been very interesting to read and, me being a teenager myself, the series is something i can relate to (im not saying im a teenage spy working for MI6 in anyway). The books stroryline is very involving, and is as interesting as it is complex, and trust me it is very complex. The book continues to surprise until the very end, with some nice and some not very nice twists. This book definately feels more grown up and darker than previously in the series, and Alex thinks and acts like someone who is older than fourteen in this book more than in any other. Overall, a very very enjoyable read, i would recomend it to readers of all ages, especially over 13s.... Read review

Alex Ferguson
Review of Managing My Life (My Autobiography) - Alex Ferguson by  gervboy

Advantages: Interesting Read
Disadvantages: None

...This is a very interesting book that gives us a great insight into the mind of a great football coach. Particularly fascinating is the effect senior school had on Alex, due to his being older than his peers.I enjoyed his early life story in particular , probably because his later life is now so familiar. I found this book very interesting as I myself have played and supported the world of football for many years and it outstands me how these great people control themselves and manage their life successfully. The man has always had a good sense of humour and been able to inflict this attitude into the game and also at the expense of his opposition managers. This is a very good read and worth buying....
