Car Reviews of Alfa 145 »
Feels like a lot of power going on
Advantages: fast, strong, reliable Disadvantages: fuel, blind spot
Ok so first things first I must admit this is my mums car, but of course I just had to borrow it!
The first time I drove this car I was actually driving a mini so you can imagine the difference.
The car feels very solid and chunky. She had the metalic grey colour which I found a bit boring and prefer the bright blue you can get.
The car is bascially made for people with very long legs and the clutch is very short and you have to sit very close ... ...peddles. And my mum, bless her is what you might say vertically challenged has to sit very close, almost with the sterring wheel in her tummy. But still she loves the car and is thinking about getting a new one.
One of her main criteria for buying the 145 is because she can get her golf clubs in the back really easily, an many of the other small cars she could not do this. There is also plenty of room for the dog!
I also fidn that the car does ...

Alfa Romeo 145
Advantages: great look, handling, brand name, excellent brakes Disadvantages: fuel consumption
I own an Alfa Romeo 145 1.4t.s since 2000 and i love this car.I bought it new and it still in excellent condition.
This car has many advantages.Firstly, it is very beautifull. It's appearance is very distinctive and sporty, especially in the red color, which i choose. Moreover, it has superb brakes. The models with A.B.S have four disks which give you a safety feeling.Additionaly, the suspension is as hard as itshould be insuch a sport model and the car ... ...every Alfa Romeo.
The only serious disadvantage is that 145 wants too much fuel.Moveover, despite the fact that the engine has 103 horsepower, the performances are not so gut.
My 145 also hasthe sport kit ,which makes the car more attractive.I use the car every day and until today it has be prooved very reliable.
The Alfa 145 is a trully Alfa Romeo capable not only for Alfa's enthusiastics, but also for everyone who loves driving.Buy it and let your ...

Alfa Style
Advantages: stylish, brilliant driver's car Disadvantages: horrible interior, high insurance
Alfa's stylish Escort-rival. Early cars were poorly built and dynamically below par, but matters were greatly improved thanks to more stringent production standards, revised chassis and new engines. A hatch, the 145 is the characterful 3- priced to match. The 146 is a more conservative and less popular 5-door.
The cabin has always looked very dated but is very spacious. Equipment includes driver’s airbag, ABS, alarm and impact beams all as standard.

Junior in name not size
Advantages: Sporty looking fun and fast in great choice of colours Disadvantages: Limited edition and the doors are bloody heavy
The Alfa Romeo 145 Junior
I have one of the very last limited edition 145’s. The colour is French Blue. Which is sort of similar to the vivid blue that you see lots of Peugeot 205’s painted, but when I have parked beside them the colour difference is amazing. The blue is so vivid and metallic, it look really good.
In fact – it’s a bit of a posers car really.
The Alfa 145 Cloverleaf comes with a 2.0L turbo engine. Unfortunately ... ...in Top Gear trials, this still knocked .5 of a second off the Golf GTI at 0-60 mph, so its pretty fast.
With drivers airbag, ABS and all the other safety features you would expect it’s a pretty nice car, it looks good, handles really well, and is very nippy about town.
So what about the interior?
Well. Daz had a 156 Selespeed as a company car, and the interior in that was wow, the dials where white on black and it was really retro, plus ...

Alfa 1.4 T.Spark
Advantages: A popular brand, cool features Disadvantages: Ugly, sluggish, uncomfortable
For its size, this car feels very small on the inside, and it is very unconfortable. The leg room in the back is mediocre, but not suggestable for adults on long journeys!
The steering is controlled, but makes driving a bore. The car is sluggish, and the 1.4 litre engine does not perform as it should in a car this size. The car feels like it is worth much less than it really cost, and most definately was not worth the money. Fortunately, it is my ... ...I pay anything for it. It's also very inefficient, my 2.0 litre people carrier is more efficient, and is capable of reaching faster speeds.
The car does have some positive points, ABS, 5 Air bags and a CD player came with it. Tinted windows come as standard, and the boot space is plenty for a weekly shop and a couple of briefcases and a rucksack. The customer services were very good when we tried to ask about getting the sunroof repaired.
The car, ...
