My boyfriend and my bro either got this car. My bf has the 1.9 jtd 115 cv, and my bro has the 1.9 jtd 150 cv. I don't know if you ever had a conctat with this kind of car. I mean, it is just Wonderful! It has a great line, outside, and inside the design it's perfect, really accurate, with everything you can desire from a car. The engine it's really silent and it "calls" you to accelerate. You can choose between 5 different type of preparation: distinctive, progression, exlusive, blackline and selespeed. They change basing on some optional, such as alloy wheels, be zone clima, inside covering, etc. Exlusive it's the full optional kind, distinctive has about every optional, progression it's the base line. I really like this car, and it goes really fast if you choose 1.9 or higher engines. And also if they are diesel they have a lot of reprise, typical of turbo-diesel cars. You can also choose fuel engines, they cost less but you spend more in Fuel. The diesel engine consumes a very small quantity of diesel, and if you respect speed limits, you can also do 17km with a liter. If you are planning to change car, buy an Alfa Romeo!: )
Quick review of Alfa Romeo 147 1.9 JTD Car review ofAlfa Romeo 147 1.9 JTDby

I have had this Alfa since October 2004, it has been ultra reliable, I have covered approx 16000 miles since I bought it, and it hasn't gone wrong, or nothing has fallen off it. It is quick, very fuel efficient, more so than my Peugeot HDI Dturbo, looks sexy, drives fab and is a great quality and characterful alternative to the boring VAG group products! Customer service at the Alfa Garage has been perfect, and is cheaper to service then my 206 HDI Dturbo. A great car, with a great following.

Advantages: Great spread of power, environmentaly friendly Disadvantages: Price, and high insurance.
...I am in the process of looking for a new car. This weekend I test drove an Alfa Romeo1471.9JTD 16V(140 BHP).
This review will be split under several headings, and each heading will be rated out of ten - ten being fab, 1 being bad.
First Impressions: 10/10
This car is pure style to look at from the outside, the car body has a slight concave shape in the doors and all along the side - this gives the car an immediate sense of style and sensuality. The car exudes confidence and individuality from its' external apperance. The front of the car with its' very prominent grill and headlights endowes this car with some serious road presence and again, even more style. This car appears to be designed by the human hand and not a cold hearted clinical computer. I test drove the three door version - nicely weighted door handles and a great...

Advantages: Out of the Norm Styling & Performance Disadvantages: Getting Old Now
...WHAT IS IT?
The 147 is AlfaRomeo's compact hatchback, produced in three and five door forms and competing in the Ford Focus / Vauxhall Astra market. This is actually an interesting, diverse and most popular market sector now, outselling all other types of car. The competition is fierce and many of the alternatives, such as the Honda Civic, are new and bang up to date.
In 2001 the Alfa147 was voted European Car of The Year.
WHICH SPECIFIC MODEL?
The actual car that I am reviewing here is right at the top of the Alfa147 tree. It is a five door 1.9JTD 150 Lusso. The 1.9JTD 150 has the most powerful two litre version of the now ubiquitous GM (Vauxhall / Saab) engine in it, which was co-developed with Fiat, parent company of AlfaRomeo.
IN WHAT CAPACITY AM I REVIEWING THIS CAR?
OK, hands up, this is not my own car. This...

Advantages: Great to Look at. Good to Drive. A Quality Fiat. Disadvantages: It May Well Depreciate More Than Most. Dealers
...a thoroughly "long legged" little car - quiet and smooth to drive. There is absolutely no reason why it would not take us all the way across Europe with speed and economy matched by few others. I can think of no other car of this size and price that I would wish to do that journey in.
FINAL SCORE: 129 / 170 - 75.9%
Well who would have thought it as little as five years ago, a Fiat coming up with a really solid all round score like that? Not I, that is for sure!
Putting that score into perspective are the following cars based on identical scoring criteria:
ALFA ROMEO1471.9JTD Lusso (5 Dr) - 67.8%
FIAT PUNTO GRANDE SPORTING 130 Mjet - 75.9%
HONDA ACCORD i-CTDi Saloon - 80.0%
HONDA CIVIC 1.8i VTEC SE - 78.2%
HONDA JAZZ 1.4 SE CVT-7 (Automatic) - 74.7%
SAAB 9-3 TiD Vector - 68.2%
VAUXHALL ASTRA TWINTOP 1.9 CDTi DESIGN - 78...
