I loved this car. Bags and bags of torque. Unfortunately I bought an import thinking it was the 150 BHP model but it was actually the 138 model. Mine was silver with the red leather interior which we could not live with. My wife only drove the car once and instantly took a disliking to it. She never did want me to buy it in the first place. However I am now looking for another, possibly the facelift model and with lots more power. Now 175 BHP as the 1.9 JTD now has 140. This car has bags and bags of character. Won't hold much in the way of bulky loads but I would rather have this than the equivalent Audi A4 Avant or BMW 3 series touring for a far lower price.
Advantages: BMW quality, Appeal, Looks Disadvantages: Not a load lugger, Pricey
I opted out of my company car scheme last year. Consequently, I spent a very long time trawling the market, looking to replace the company car that was about to be returned (A MB C-Class Estate).
