As with most fantasy adventures, to adults Alice in Wonderland seems like the product of a dieased or at the very least, drug addled mind. To children it is all perfectly acceptable however.
It is a timeless adventure tale and the larger than life characters are great, such as the Cheshire Cat and the mad Hatter.
There are all kinds of theories running round about how Carroll was trying to invent a new system of mathematics and other crazy ideas, but don't let that affect your enjoyment as you journey through Wonderland with Alice, shrinking, growing and trying to avoid the wrath of the Queen of Hearts.
Try not to analyse it too much, just enjoy the craziness and the great cast of characters.

i Like your 'just enjoy the craziness' !!! But I do think its possibly more for adults than it is for CHIldren!!! I guess more could have been mentioned, which is why I rated as helpful ... but I did like your use of language!!!
