Alien Hominid is a classic online side scroller from newgrounds.com which has been brought over to xbox live arcade. The story mode has 3 areas and each area has 5-6 levels. The difficulty is really hard but the story mode offers different kinds of gameplay elements such as riding on the yeti in Russia or using your alien ship in a space battle and loads of weapons that give the enemy soldiers hilarious dying animations. It is also possible to play the entire story mode with a friend. Alien Hominid also includes some multiplayer minigames and hats for your avatar that can be unlocked as players finish the story. Alien Hominid offers some solid xbox live achievement points for those interested in their gamerscore. For 800 mps Alien Hominid offers up a solid game that shouldn't be missed.
