...Glass and Steele Motor Cycles in Alloa has been around for decades. I only moved to Alloa around 5 years ago but knew of it before that. A friend of my Dad's had a mate that worked there repairing old Jame's motorcycles in the 50's. These days they dont repair motor bikes but actually sell pedal cycles, so the name may be a bit misleading. THE SHOP This cycle shop is a little out of date these days and perhaps suffers a little because it is situated off the beaten track in Alloa. The shop itself is clean and well presented and when you walk by its pretty clear from the bikes in the window that its a cycle shop. Its a pretty small shop but has a goo little viewing area for the bikes. They also have the usual regulatory desk area with some racks behind displaying the spare parts they have to offer. ...This store is not east to find in Barnstaple unless you know where it is and car parking is limited, however it is within walking distasnce from the town centre. The shop is run by genuine bikers who know what they are talking about and will not fob you off with rubbish. The show room contains a range of classic, custom and sports bikes along with a range of helmets and motor cycle clothing. They also offer mots, repairs and servicing i havent tried the workshop out yet. The show room is bright but the prices are not very well displayed and the whole area seems crampt and cluttered unless they had just had a delivery but it all seemed to need organising into some kind of order. however overall a reasonable store, the items that i could see prices on were reasonably priced.... ...I think the honda cr 125 is the best motorcross bike out it has the top end speed and the middle range pull the motors are very well set up and are very reliable if i had the choice of any motor cycle this would be it.The only down part about the cr the some of the parts cost just a little bit more but trust me its worth it. Alot of my friends own cr 125's aswell as me and the think they are just as good as i do. If your looking to bu a motorcross bike DONT look no further the cr 125 is the bike for you... Read review
