You probably haven’t heard of him because he has only written two novels, although both have been bestsellers. THE AUTHOR Allan Folsom was born in 1944 and grew up in Boston, USA. When he was about 20 he moved to California and did film work, in the form of writing and editing. He became a script writer for film and television but remained relatively unknown. Advantages: fun, creative, exciting yet simple

...Each Peach Pear Plum is a wonderful children's book written by Janet and Allan Ahlberg, and at just £4.99 it is definately one I would advice parents, teachers, grandparents and gardians to have on their bookshelves. I remember loving this book as a child, and I bought it a few months back to add to my own collection because I am doing teachers training and this is one book I would love to share with my future classes. The book is written in very bold black font accompanies by the most beautiful illustrations. The text on each page contains two lines which rhyme with each other and encourage the reader, or audiance to find a new character in the illustrations. This continues for 12 pages before at last all the characters appear on one page. As a child I loved trying to find the different characters and would always request... Read review
