...I am a young driver with a performance car and when it came to getting quotes it was a nightmare. I tried all the leading insurers who either would not insure me or had rediculous prices. I found an advert for Privilege insurance in a car magazine which i thought i would try as it specialises in quality cars. I did an online quote to get a quote and was suprised to see how cheap they were. I shortly after phoned them to see if everything was in order and that was the correct quote. With their friendly and helpful service i took out my policy and have still not found a cheaper quote. It is not just a cheap quote you get with privilege it is a quality service with no hassles. I recommend you give them a try as you will not be dissapointed...

...I brought home with me a Renault Clio 1.2 RT (left hand drive) which I'd bought and insured in France. I had not anticipated how difficult it would be to insure and register the car in the UK. First I approached the DVLA-they couldn't register the car without proof of UK insurance-the French policy I had would not do! So I started ringing round all the usual suspects for quotes-only to find that none of them would insure my car until it was registered in the UK. Hours of giving the same details over and over again only to be told at the last knockings they couldn't insure my car. Hang on-can't register it without insurance-can't insure it until it's registered ??? Aaarrrgghh!! I found my way to the British Insurance Brokers Association, who recommended me to a broker called A J Insurance Service 0870 444 3511. Straight away...
