Manufacturer's product description
The AR330 has two Ethernet connections providing organizations with security issues to maintain two separate LANs, plus one WAN or Internet connection. This configuration makes an ideal integrated and flexible way for small offices, schools and remote sites that need to have two LANs secure from each other but still utilize the same WAN router. The synchronous port auto-configures all major interfaces including RS232, X.21, and V.35, in DTE and DCE modes providing leased line support. The 2 asynchronous (RS-232) ports provide 115kbps dial-up for external modems to either backup the dedicated link or provide top-up bandwidth for the network link. Full modem control is supported and both asynchronous ports can be multi-linked with PPP for extra bandwidth.

Advantages: The Speed and relibility of this is fansastic Disadvantages: None
...The netgear wireless router is a great piece of equiptment and very good value. I had just brough a apple imac and my moden a speed touch 330 wasnt compatiable with the apple i mac as I also had the intel core duo processor. So I ordered a Belkin wireless moden router but was told that the netgear one was better. I am so glad that they told me this as it is so easy to set up and get on the internet. I had never set up a wireless network up and the good thing is I have the same connection on a normal PC and the Apple Imac. If anyone wants a wireless moden router I would suggest this.
It also runs in complete scilence. to view all of the specifications for this product please follow the link below

Advantages: Easy to set up, Very quick, Disadvantages: A bit bigger than normal
...by the Belkin router is seamless and very quick compared to our old machine. The console itself is larger than most routers but has a nice sleek appearance all the lights have icons below them so you can see ar a glance what is working properly. I am by no means technically minded so I am pleased with the whole package and its ease of installing and use.
I would recommend this product. They also provide a free technical support line for if you have any problems and it comes with a LIFETIME GUARANTEE.
I run 1 PC about 10ft away from it, signal strength excellent,
2nd PC 2 walls away and approx 40ft,, signal strength excellent.
3rd PC Upstairs 4 walls away and approx 80ft, signal strength very good,
It was the high speed mode which attracted me and the promise of excellent range. Just for a test myself and my next door neighbour tested its wireless...

A LITTLE GEM Review ofThomson SpeedTouch 330by
frankpotter
Advantages: Reliable, Easy Installation, Versatile, Excellent Value Disadvantages: None
...and drivers is also included.
The appearance of the SpeedTouch 330 is more attractive than some of its competitors and a choice of colours is available
Price - At the time of writing the SpeedTouch 330 can be purchased for around £24.00. There are also a number of ADSL internet providers that provide this modem free of charge as part of a package.
Reasonably future proof: Can handle up to 8Mb/s downstream, 832 kb/s upstream. A caveat to this however is that at the time of writing the very latest version of Windows (Windows XP 64 Bit) is not supported. I expect this situation to change in the very near future.
Limitations: The SpeedTouch 330 is only intended for users wishing to use Broadband on one single computer at once. A Router is needed for anyone wishing to share their Broadband simultaneously between different...
