Manufacturer's product description
Allied Telesis'' AT-2450 PCI Ethernet adapters connect high performance computers with a Peripheral Component Interface (PCI) architecture to Ethernet networks. The PCI Bus Master architecture minimizes CPU utilization, freeing your computer's power for the most memory-intensive applications. These high performance adapters utilize the 32-bit PCI bus architecture, which transfers data at speeds up to 33Mhz and has data throughput rates as high as 132Mbytes/second, up to 16 times faster than the traditional ISA bus. Both high-speed systems and applications requiring transfer of multimedia and video data will benefit from this solution. Full-Duplex operation enables the AT-2450 to transmit and receive data simultaneously in switched environments

...I’ve owned a Revo now for around 6 months and have found it to be invaluable, even if I will admit I originally purchased it as a nice-to-have gadget. The unit is durable and has stood up well to some fairly arduous treatment, and still looks (as one would expect) good as new.
The main decision, as I see it, when choosing a PDA at the moment is what exactly you will use it for. I like the 3Com Palm VX very much, and strongly considered buying one when I purchased the Revo. What made my mind up were the onboard applications that come with the Revo (Microsoft compatible spreadsheet and word processor for a start). This, allied to it’s very passable keyboard led me to choose the Psion, as it allows me to work whilst on the move - even allowing me to check my emails when allied to my (Ericsson T28) mobile phone. The Palm VX, with it...

Advantages: Power. Style. Lightweight. CDRW/DVD Combo drive. Fast. Dedicated AGP graphics card with 16MB DDR memory. Not too expensive compared to most other notebooks. Plenty of expansion/add-on ports Disadvantages: The lack of a floppy drive may be a disadvantage to some, but not to me
...notebook (worry if it’s not there!!!)
Overall, the Advent 7002 is an excellent system that’s stylish, lightweight & a big bundle of power & all at a very reasonable price! Oh yeah, the sales guy threw in a 3 year extended warranty & notebook carrying case for free! The only drawback is the lack of a floppy drive, but it’s not that important to me as I have a CDRW on my notebook & one on my main pc so I can transfer files using cds rather than floppies or by networking.
Check out the PC World site (http://www.pcworld.co.uk & look under the 'What's New' heading at the top of the page) for details & other stuff that may be of interest to you.
Marks out of 10 has to be 10 as this is an excellent system for the price & worth every single penny!

Advantages: Superb performance, Stunning Specifications, a Possible Desktop replacement Disadvantages: Heavy and Rather Expensive
...: Allied Assault onto the machine. And you now how it is when you have to sit around for ages for games to install, well not anymore!!! I loaded this disk and as soon as the screen saying "Please Wait while the games installs- This may take a few minutes" it flicked off again and the massive screen replied with "Game Successfully Installed" It plays big games with flowing ease with loading times being absolutely minimal. Another great point about the 7700 is the sound. You would expect with all the parts inside a small laptop would generate huge amounts of noise from the fan. Well you're in for a treat the noise from the laptop is so quiet you would hardly notice that it was on!!! I was lucky enough to be able to have a TV Tuner inside my 7700 which works surprisingly well on the "mahussive" (massive + huge = mahussive) 17inch screen, which...
