Advantages: Seems reliable, nice looking and cheap Disadvantages: i have heard a few to many bad reports about this PSU
...and fitting which matches the universal fittings inside a PC case. A few screws and its done! (easy now ;o) lol)
The cables are a simple affair as they will only plug in one way so you cant go far wrong, and your component instruction manuals will also help guide you to what supplyplug they will need... Think of a really simple jigsaw puzzle and you've got the right idea.
Then it was a case of plugging in and turning on ( see my PC case review lol)
This PSU has served me well with no trouble as far as i know although i have had some Graphic card problems, which i cant get to the bottom of, and one of the few ideas i have left are powersupply problems. I think the wattage of 450W should be ample for my current machine, but this is where im not sure how well this PSU performs. I have read many reviews of the Q-Tec range and many of them...

Advantages: Modular so there's no mess with cables, made by CoolerMaster Disadvantages: The sheathing around the cables can make them hard to handle
...I purchased this PSU when I got the rest of my new system to build because I know Cooler Master have a good reputation when it comes to powersupplies and computer cases, and I must say that I made a good choice in doing this, as I have had no problems with it since it was installed.
When I received the powersupply with the rest of the bits it came in a large box with all the various power cables which can be plugged into it. I have to say that although I've never actually bought a powersupply before, the way this one was presented was actually really nice. I mean I know it's just a black box that gives your computer the power it needs but the way the box came open and the way everything came packaged made it seem as though Cooler Master really have thought about everything when designed this product.
At first it seemed a bit...

Advantages: Lightweight, Multiple plugs Disadvantages: An extra addition to your bag
...The Kensington Travel Adaptor is a must for any electronic geek who travels abroad a lot. It is imazing that despite increasing globalisation and the unification and standardisation of many entities around the world, electrical power is one thing that varies around the world. From the US and Canada's 110V 3-round pin supply, to Europe's 250V 2-round pin supply, to Africa's Anglo-european comibination, it is quite easy to accidentally damage a device by plugging it in incorrectly.
The kensington adaptor is a useful, if half-hearted device. The multiple plugs are self contained making it easy to carry, and all that is needed is for the user to select the required one and plug it into the wall. Unfortunately however, this device is NOT a transformer, therefore UK devices sill won't work in the US even with the correct plug. I would...
