Advantages: amazing piece of technology

...First of all I'm not a fan of either Sony or Microsoft... so this review is not biased. I thin that the way sony have advertised and managed the ps3 is not really that good... but I'm here to review the created not the creator.... The playstation 3 is an amazing advancement in not only the gaming area but also in the home entertainment area too. To own a ps3 is to get rid of the need for: a CD player a DVD player A blu-ray player (which cost atleast three times more than the ps3, which is a good enough reason to buy a ps3 alone) Picture storage device and web browsing device another games console for the next ten years all these things make up a ps3, which is why I think the ps3 is a worthwhile buy.... Advantages: Has limitless potential - even the launch titles defy belief.
Disadvantages: Weighs more than the moon, everything costs a fortune.

...to another controller - it's like cheating. That, and I hate the Wii. I don't want to wave my arms around like an idiot playing a load of gimmick games - video gaming is about chilling out and relaxing for me. There is a new addition to the controller - the sixxaxis capability. More on that later. So yes, the price. It's the big thing, both literally and from a criticism standpoint. But after spending an hour playing around on it, you start to understand why. Seriously, I have never, ever encountered a machine which has such a limitless feel. The launch titles alone (I bought Virtua Tennis 3 and Motorstorm), just blow you away. These are launch titles, folks. If you've not seen the games in action, try and get hold of footage. This represents the beginning of the improvement curve for PS3 games. They will get even better than this... Read review

...What can I say, probably the best creation on the planet, a real masterpiece. Sony have made a real piece of art here that will go down in the ages. With as many accessories and perks to keep you hypnotised for hours and we haven't even got on to the games yet. With Blu-ray compatabilty every part of your PS3 game and movie experience is picture perfect. In comparison to the XBOX 360 the PS3 through anyone eyes is leaps and bounds infront of it in terms of its features as standard, graphics and value. With an extensive range of games and library of add ons and games in the playstation store you will be bemused for years to come. The PS3 is the future ladies and gentlemen, don't let this amazing machine pass you by.
