Alone in the Dark (Xbox 360)

...***After some consideration, the review title has been changed*** The Xbox 360 games console, due for release in the USA 22nd November, Europe 2nd December 2005 and in Japan 10th December 2005, is shaping up to be an extremely desirable product indeed. There are four main points to consider when purchasing a console. These are: 1. Software 2. Services 3. Hardware 4. Compatibility Software: Software comprises mainly of games. The games on offer for the Xbox 360 include Call Of Duty 2, Alan Wake, Kameo: Elements of Power, Perfect Dark Zero and Final Fantasy XI. Those are only five of a total of 40 out by the end of 2005, and considering that the Xbox 360 is only out for the last few weeks of 2005, that is a very impressive amount of games. Advantages: Incredible Graphics, Some fantastic games, Easy to use

...As I enthusiastically unboxed my 360 I was hoping the rumours of faulty units would not affect me. I set up my unit in minutes, entered all my preferences and inserted Perfect Dark. Not only was the game with its cutting edge graphics and gameplay flawless, so was the console aswell as its online capabilities. A month on I have purchased several more games, the best of which is Oblivion : Elder Scrolls IV and I am utterly satisfied with every element of the 360. And no, I have not encountered a single error in the unit. If I had to fault the 360 on any points it may be the lack of standout games as yet, but it is still early days and is somewhat a mook point considering Oblivion alone offers well in excess of 200 hours gameplay. Also, the fairly hefty priced peripherals can be a scary thought for those of you with as poultry a bank... Read review

...Halo 3 xbox 360 game This is one of the best games around on the xbox 360. It is the third is the seires and is a first person shooter created by Bungie exclusive to the xbox 360 console. The campaign can be played through alone, or played cooperatively with other players via Xbox Live or System Link. The xbox live fatures for this game are amazing play upto 16 player in several different game modes like "capture the flag" and "team slayer" Earn exp points to achieve ranks which can lead to xbox gamerscore points. There is alot of downloadable content like several more maps available to use on xbox live. This is a bargin now as it has been out in some countries since september 2007.
