Advantages: CLEANS WELL, SMELLS NICE Disadvantages: BURNS EYES MORE THAN AVERAGE SHAMPOO
...Was busy minding my own business looking for free samples one night and stumbled across a free sample of Original Source Mint and Tea Tree shampoo
Sounds nice I thought to myself, something for nothing!
I waited about 5 days and low and behold it appeared on the doormat.
Quite a large free sample and packaged ever so nicely I was eager to go in the shower and give my free sample a try.
Well, the smell was very refreshing, tangy and zesty all at the same time.
As I read the back of the sachet noticed that only a small amount was to be applied to the hair! Oops!
As the froth and foam ran down my face I was in sheer panic.
It got onto my eyelids, a very sensitive part of your face and that was it! I didn’t dare open my eyes it stung that much.
It could only be described as having the top layer of skin removed by having...

Advantages: Leaves hair feeling fantastic, easy to dispense Disadvantages: Expensive, much too expensive
...I’ve never been one for sticking to a certain variety of shampoo even though I have sensitive skin that can sometimes react very badly to new products. Over the years I have found a few products that are kind to my skin and give my hair a pleasant smell and texture, although I can honestly say nothing has ever wowed me completely and made me want to sing from the rooftops and extol its virtues as much as the shampoo I’m reviewing today.
I have read about some fabulous hair products on Ciao yet it always makes me angry that the majority of the really wonderful products can cost anything from £5 to £8. Having two children living at home and another son to support, I could not possibly justify spending this amount of money on a shampoo so have always resigned myself to a life of using normal shampoos from the supermarket shelves...

Advantages: clears up the snowfall Disadvantages: its a bit medicinal
...the nits i was fearing)I usually have a lovely glossy mane to be proud of, but my head got really itchy, and rather than dandruff being in my hair it was bits of scab!!(sorry if anyone feels sick)Underneath my innocent looking barnet lurked quite a horrible skin condition. (I just thank the lord it wasnt on my face)
Anyway, the wonderful nurse auntie handed over a very medicinal looking white bottle with loads of prescription style writing on it in brown and red, which she told me would clear up my problem in no time!!
The back of the bottle told me to lather the nizoral into my hair like normal shampoo and leave for 3-5 minutes. I duly did. It lathered well, and was a nice pink colour. To say it is a medicinalshampoo i was pleasantly suprised by the smell, which, while it wasnt chanel no5, was not offensive to the senses.
After the first...

George's grandmother is a grizzly old grunion. George dreads being left alone with her when his mother goes shopping on a Saturday morning and if you knew his grandmother you really wouldn't blame him. She does nothing but criticise and get him into... more
Everyone I know (almost) owns one of these book. Universally known as "The little yellow book", this little gem is one of the most useful things I possess.
Published by the Oxford University Press, this small volume is just the right size to fit in more
I grew up thinking of Nivea as a cream that came in a little blue tin and had a unique aroma.
I also grew up thinking that face creams, cleansers and other associated products were the preserve of the fairer sex.
So I was wrong on both counts, Nivea more
