For the sensitive!

Advantages: see review
Disadvantages: see review

I have sensitive dry skin so have to be very careful about what products I use. When it comes to cleansing my face I really like to use water as I feel I have actually washed, unlike when I use cleansing creams! I have tried several products that claim to be for sensitive skins over the years but have found many of these leave my skin feeling dry and tight at best and sometimes I have been left with a red irritated skin. I was given a bottle of Elemis sensitive cleansing wash by a close friend who also has sensitive skin and finds this perfect for her skin. Elemis sensitive cleansing wash is not cheap. It retails for around £18 for a 200 ml bottle, although it is worth shopping around as prices vary. It is available from many beauty salons or from John Lewis. So is it worth the cost? Elemis sensitive cleansing skin wash comes in ...

Nikon Coolpix S1

Advantages: Small, compact and very easy to use!
Disadvantages: Old, not as good as more recent cameras.

Nikon Coolpix S1. I bought this camera from Curries via their website for £169 back in 2006, so it is relatively old now, and in terms of the advance in cameras, is almost an antique! You can now pick one up for a lot cheaper, around £65, but I think they're being slowly phased out, so if you want one, get it quick. When I first bought it, 5.1 Megapixels was considered relatively high, whereas now, anything towards 9.1 or 10.1 megapixels is becoming the new bench level. However, unless you are a really keen photographer, you won't really notice too much difference. What attracted me to this camera was it's looks. It is a lovely little camera, and in black it looks stylish and sleek, whilst also being very compact; there's no extruding lens or other parts sticking out, so the camera is very flat which is extremely helpful as it can ...

Leica S1

Advantages: from Studio direkt to CMYK, superior image quality
Disadvantages: thetered camera, needs continuous light

This is Leica´s very first selfmade digital camera. With the LEICA S 1 Pro, Leica Camera, Solms, has managed to further increase the imaging quality and productivity of the digital studio camera. This increase in performance is achieved with a remarkable sensor which results in a maximum data quality at a high signal to noise ratio. This has a4-fold increase in light sensitivity, meaning that even critical photographic situations at low levels of illumination can be handled more effectively. The photographer can use the modeling light of his or her existing studio flash equipment for taking the shots, for instance. The new sensor - including Binning and Anti-flicker - provides a 14 Bit signal for red, green and blue colours which is processed in a 16 bit data path. This results in clean colours without noise or blooming. All ...
