The head unit gives out 50W x 4 which is standard these days but still gives a great clarity to the sound you would come to expect from Alpine..
The face comes off also which is a must in any head unit nowadays and this is easy to take off and attach..
All in all a great head unit that is a must buy if you own an Ipod!
I would highly recommend :D...

Advantages: All in one compact design. Very Powerful. Disadvantages: I have not found any.
...Watts, this is very powerful as when used in conjunction with my Alpine CDE-9850Ri Head Unit I can feel the bass on the back of my seat and it makes my rear view mirror vibrate when it is only on 2/3 volume. The unit should come with the wiring kit included. The average price for the unit is around £100. All your head unit needs to run it is a pre out connection which is just two phono sockets in the back of your head unit. Very easy to wire in and get working. This is a very good unit and i am very pleased with it. I would definitely recommend it....

My favourite trick is to leave the eq exactly as it comes from factory, but to increase the subwoofer output level...
