I picked up this headunit off the net for £150 which I think is quite a fair price, there are cheaper but they don't have the features that this does.

I picked up this headunit off the net for £150 which I think is quite a fair price, there are cheaper but they don't have the features that this does.
Installation is fairly easy and I'm sure most people would cope doing this by themselves if not maybe get one from halfords as they offer free fitting.
Hooking up an ipod is also simple enough and is recommedable as you have all your favourite songs in one place as opposed to swithcing cds every five minutes. You then browse your songs through the headunit as opposed to the ipod which is possibly easier whilst driving along but does take some getting used to.
You have all the normal tone, fade and balance controls which don't really need to be touched but they're there....Power wise you have 50 watts per channel which is more than enough (well should be!) and sound quality is ok (no head units are good, they're hardly hifi now are they) but still for the car its as good as it gets.
Front panel is detatchable as normal and you get a nice protective carry case to store it in to deter thieves.
We originally had an under counter fridge and seperate freezer but are now getting a new kitchen fitted so decided to go for a fridge/freezer option so we could include more units.
