Advantages: Pockets in Hood, Suitable from birth, Easy to steer, Lightweight, Shopping basket Disadvantages: Does not sit bolt upright.
I bought this stroller from Babies R Us in December 2005. At the time I needed a lightweight stroller due to my 6 month old daughter having grown out of her travel system car seat and the Graco buggy being too heavy to drag in and out of the boot every day during the school run.
Whilst in Babies R Us we saw the Bruin Alpine Stroller. Its style appealed to me and I was even more impressed when I saw the price.
HOW MUCH?
It was originally £69.99 but this particular day it had £10 off so was £59.99 and we also had a voucher for £5 off any stroller over £30 so the final price was £54.99. Bargain.
CAN YOU BUY IT ONLINE?
Yes you can buy it online from the Babies R Us website. If you go to babiesrus.co.uk go to travel, then find pushchairs and on page 2 you should find the Alpine. You can also order it via their catalogue through ...
the back of the unit to the leads that my previous head unit used. This allows the 2 connectors to slip into each other without cutting and having to match up the coloured wires.
The touch glide bar allows the user to quickly browse thorugh the many different songs that the MP3 unit can play. I recently had my car broken into so the deceiding factor of purchasing this unit was the detachable front panel.
The Alpine 9855r is IPOD ready however needs additional KCA-420i adaptor.
Other Features Include...
Downloadable custom settings for the head unit from Alpines i-Personalize website
MediaXpander to make your compressed music sound like CDs and comes with a nifty little remote for passengers to use.

Advantages: good sound nice to look at Disadvantages: skips in middle of songs, no clock!!!!!, pay £160.00 for great sound
Ok bought alpine ida x200 as it did nearly all the things x100 does but was a £100 cheaper. after installing i noticed the clock would not display, so i contacted alpine u.k. and they gave me instructions on how to display. I followed instructions but these did not work so again i contacted alpine u.k. The response came back he had given wrong instructins and the x200 does not have a clock. The sound is nice on system but if you want to have great sound you have to buy an imprint sound manager system about £49.00. Then you will need the sound chip aruond £120.00. If you want bluetooth phone connection add another £80.00.if you want a clock add £100 and upgrade to the x100, i have never bought alpine before and never will again. I will say this though if you buy American x200 you do get a clock and a calender. Amazing how we the British ...
