Advantages: High quality, well-priced, feature packed Disadvantages: Annoying power off button - that's it!!
...to a format that suits you (choice of 10). The tuner has an huge amount of functions RDS,PTY,Radio Text etc..... You'll definately need the manual to set it up and to pick out the functions that you want to use (you wont want them all!) The sound quality is very good through the 4 x 40W internal amplifier. It has 4V pre-outs to connect to an external amplifier which gives excellent quality sound. It uses Alpine's Ai Net connection system, which allows you to add all sorts of extras such as CD changer, MD player, TV screen, Video etc. The display lighting can be altered to green or amber to match the car lighting and can be set-up to mute if your phone rings when it's connected top a hands-free in-car kit. It evens comes with an infra-red remote control - very impressive but not all that useful.

Advantages: These speakers will handle large amounts of power and are more than willing to do so for long periods of time. They have rather punchy bass so I find that they work very well along side a sub and they have great midrange sound. Disadvantages: Quite weighty so if you're planning on installing them into a standard parcel shelf be prepared to stregthen it, better still would be to replace the shelf with a wooden one.

...i recently purchased this amazing unit by Alpine from BassJunkies for just over £300. Its a fantastic unit that contains many different features hence the thick user guide that comes with the unit. The unit is fully customizable with the options of changing button colours, background movies, many diifferent preset factory equalisers aswell as manual setupus to customize the sound to your own personal liking.
I have only had the item about a week and i am loving every little detail and feature that it contains. The sound quality through my pioneer rear speakers is spot on as with the bulit in equalisers alows me to make the sound perfect. I previously had a sony but there is no comparison to my new unit.
I thought fitting of this would be a right pain however for £15 pounds i was able to match my car to the lead that come from...

This is the ultimate 'convenient' Headunit!
I bought this to fit in my XKR, to replace the frankly 'rubbish' std audio system (tuner, cassette and CD autochanger).
I was fed up with having to carry CD's in the car buit wanted to have a unit that made more
