Alpine MRP-F600

Advantages: good sound nice to look at
Disadvantages: skips in middle of songs, no clock!!!!!, pay £160.00 for great sound

...Ok bought alpine ida x200 as it did nearly all the things x100 does but was a £100 cheaper. after installing i noticed the clock would not display, so i contacted alpine u.k. and they gave me instructions on how to display. I followed instructions but these did not work so again i contacted alpine u.k. The response came back he had given wrong instructins and the x200 does not have a clock. The sound is nice on system but if you want to have great sound you have to buy an imprint sound manager system about £49.00. Then you will need the sound chip aruond £120.00. If you want bluetooth phone connection add another £80.00.if you want a clock add £100 and upgrade to the x100, i have never bought alpine before and never will again. I will say this though if you buy American x200 you do get a clock and a calender. Amazing how we the British... Read review

...i recently purchased this amazing unit by Alpine from BassJunkies for just over £300. Its a fantastic unit that contains many different features hence the thick user guide that comes with the unit. The unit is fully customizable with the options of changing button colours, background movies, many diifferent preset factory equalisers aswell as manual setupus to customize the sound to your own personal liking. I have only had the item about a week and i am loving every little detail and feature that it contains. The sound quality through my pioneer rear speakers is spot on as with the bulit in equalisers alows me to make the sound perfect. I previously had a sony but there is no comparison to my new unit. I thought fitting of this would be a right pain however for £15 pounds i was able to match my car to the lead that come from... Read review

...this headunit is the best headunit i have had for a while, it has a glidetouch function which makes selecting cd or radio a lot easier whilst driving. it also has a high power output, i have 6 sets of speakers in my car and an amplifier and sub and the cd player runs them all very happily. all are after market alpine and pioneer speakers, also fusion 6x9's and amp and sub, and the cd player cannot be faulted. i chose to go for the mid range alpine cd player to get the best functions at a reasonable price and found that i got all this and more. the colours can also be changed and it can tilt 4 different angles, all of this i did not know until after buying this and these extra functions amazed me! the colours are completly different and the headunit looks brilliant!
