Advantages: Loud, Clear, and good value Disadvantages: Small best used along side larger bass speakers
...After purchasing a new car and fitting the stereo i was strugling to conect the speakers. After removing the door pockets and speaker covers of my new 106 i found the previous owner had kept the speakers and failed to inform me. Annoying to say the least.
But they say every cloud has a silver lining. Fortunatly for me I found some real gems at Halfords.
The AlpineSXE 1325 S 13cm door speakers deliver a very clear high and mid-range sound and have a surprizingly punchy bass considering there size.
I managed to fit them in Halfords carpark in half an hour with all the nessasery screws and bits provided. I then drove home in aural pleasure.
I am planning to fit some 6x9 speakers in my parcel shelf to provide the bass sound to a better level. Hopefully i can afford some Alpine ones....

Advantages: Excellent Picture Quality, Great Sound and a Stunning design Disadvantages: Only one HDMI slot
...We had our Philips 32" CRT for quite a few years and we decided that we would upgrade to an HDTV. When we were looking around, one TV stuck out from the rest, the Pioneer 436SXE.
The picture quality is fantastic, whether you're watching any form of TV programme, DVD's, the quality is brilliant. Especially compared to our old Philips.
Sound performance is good too and we're just listening to it through the integrated speakers.
On the outside, the TV looks outstounding with a glossy black finish.
The only one downside to the TV is that it only has one HDMI slot. This means if you have a Sky HD box and a DVD player that possesses HDMI, you'll have to keep switching between the two. I don't find this a huge problem though as even though it adds to the cost, you can purchase an HDMI adapter to enable to connect both devices.
If you want...

Advantages: Best sound quality in its price range Disadvantages: Ugly as sin
...The ultimate in ICE (in car entertainment). ALPINE!
A big name for many years in the automotive industry delivering some of the best amplifiers, headunits and speakers available.
The CDA range definately does not dissapoint. Featuring all of the classic alpine qualities including the old alpine look with the 4 buttons to the left of the round volume control (which now functions as a whole lot more).
Its an absolutely ugly headunit as all alpines are, a pig to operate and I dont think there is anyone in the world that has mastered every option on an alpine unit since they first started producing them, but from the moment you first power it up you fall in love with the depth, warmth and clarity of the sound reproduction. My favourite trick is to leave the eq exactly as it comes from factory, but to increase the subwoofer output level...
