...Do you live in Doncaster South Yorkshire? Well if you do, and like me you have a relatively old but reasonably reliable car, which needs regular servicing due to having to do lots of miles each year, I can certainly recommend Maxfields of Dunscroft (on Station Road next to Summerfields). Their prices are definitely competitive, just give them a try, they will quote you for any work you require. Advantages: Fuel economy, Comfort.
Disadvantages: Customer service, repair problems.

.... The service receptionist showed a total disinterest in his job and seemed more intent on chewing his gum. The secretary of Perrys Group managing director listened to our complaints with symapthy, but nothing else. The customer service manager for Perrys Group refused our many requests to either meet with him, or speak to him. In summary, many people who work for Perrys have agreed that our car has a fault, but the senior management have refused to resolve the problem. Citroen UK have done nothing to help us. We approached Trading Standards in West Yorkshire, but they refused to help because we live in Derbyshire. Trading Standards in Derbyshire refused to help because we bought the car from a dealer in West Yorkshire!!! Advantages: your getting a little bit off
Disadvantages: the price of petrol in the first place

...petrol prices have gone throw the roof in recent months and look set to rise even further. How ever I have noticed that several petrol stations are giving you money off vouchers as well as the usual naff glasses!!!! I have noticed 3 schemes in my area (west Yorkshire) scheme 1 - Sainsbury's petrol stations - You have to do your food shopping in store to get vouchers basically if you spend up to certain levels you get a voucher for so much off per litre The levels are Spend £25 to £49.99 you get 1p a litre off Spend £50 to £74.99 you get 2p a litre off Spend £75 to £99.99 you get 3p a litre off and spend £100 plus you get 4 p a litre off ok so its not great but it is something also you get reward points on petrol so you could always save them up and use them to get money off petrol. scheme 2 - Jet garages - you have to buy £15 worth...
