..., and this is taken into account when allotting insurance groups. So, the 1.9 fuel injected GRi actually weighed in at group 9. Let’s put this into perspective. This is exactly the same insurance group as my VW Golf 1.5 GLS. That car produces 70bhp. The lump in the 405 actually kicks out 125bhp (more than the Golf GTi of the same era), and the 405 was not an especially heavy car (weighing just over a metric tonne). Match the motor to a decent five speed gearbox, with well spread ratios (35mph in first, 60mph in second, 85mph in third), and you have yourself a bit of a sleeper…
The car performed admirably, clipping to 60 in under 10 seconds, and on to a theoretical top speed of around 120mph. So, the performance figures rival the Mk2 Golf GTi. Mind you, I hear you say, I bet the car doesn’t handle like a GTi. Well, wrong again actually. The 405...

Advantages: Better than the competition. CHEAP!! Disadvantages: Fuel economy not the best
..."Never gamble if you can't afford to lose!"
Very wise advice my father gave me as a youngster, and which I have always remembered when buying cars.
Now I love my cars, but I will not borrow large sums of money on something which is always a big gamble!
With this in mind, I was fairly relaxed about parting with £500 for a 1994 Peugeot 405 2.0 Sri. That may sound quite cheap as it is, but when you add to it, 2 owners from new (father then daughter), a genuine 85k miles, 6 months MOT and FSH, it suddenly sounds a WHOLE lot more appealing!
For some reason, people don't want petrol powered peugeot 405's. Why, I don't know, but I am very pleased they don't , and if you are looking for a good cheap family car, you could be equally pleased too!
OK, for those not in the know, this is why you should buy one.
Looks: Ok you are not going...

Advantages: Price, looks, off the peg Disadvantages: zips, price
...This jacket (and matching jeans) is the evolution of the Hein Gericke tribal suit design which offered a decent set of leathers for a very reasonable price.
I have one of the tribal suits and I would swear by it. Especially the price I paid for it at the time. Although I prefer the red/black/white colour scheme there is a choice of colours.
I did catch a kerb a few years back trying to avoid a friend who's electrics had failed and the resultant earth-sky-earth could have been alot worse if I hadnt been wearing these. The result was a broken collerbone and thumb, The leathers stayed intact and apart from minor scuffing down one of the forearm flashes there is no other damage. (In fact you can see the suit in my profile pic).
The Jacket zips to the matching Jeans to give it a more secure feel with a full waist zip, not just a short back...

Based on the film by dreamworks, Shrek 2; the Videogame, covers the good, the bad, and the ugly. Lets start with the first.
===The Good===
there are a few good elements to Shrek 2, for one, it stays almost completely true to the film, something which more
My experience, I bought this game from eBay few days ago, installed it and spent (wasted) few hours playing on it. This game is ridiculous compared to the first Juiced... or the Need For Speed series. All this game possesses is the Driver DNA crap, but... more
I think I would have been lost if I had not bought my copy of the Prima Official Game Guide for Sims2 for the PC, quite a while after I bought the game itself. I paid £12.99 for it from a High Street shop. I think I paid full price for it, but you can... more
