Advantages: Small, handy size, good for a few photos, or important data Disadvantages: Low capacity for modern cameras
...CF cards have to be one of the most boring things to write about, and they are all much of a muchness in terms of manufacturing quality and durability, so I'll be brief.
Altec have a good reputation, as far as I am aware, for products like these - and of the dozen or so of the memory cards I have, none have had any problems.
An 8MB card will hold approx 8 hi-res photos from a decent digital camera. This is obviously not a lot, but if you were doing portraits of people, or a few quick shots of certain places, keeping them on distinct cards could have its advantages.

Advantages: Fast, Large, Effective Disadvantages: None so far
...I've been into digital photography for a while now (around 6 years) and have seen in grow from the high end being 1.2 MP to what is is today (some in excess of 32 MP). Back in the day (a Wednesday in fact), my trusty 64 MB card got me by soundly. This is not the case anymore as I am the proud owner and operator of a Canon EOS XT Digital Rebel 6.0MP. Advantages: Good Value Disadvantages: Nothing so far
...This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the very short term. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market. Unfortunately it contributes significantly to global warming.
After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore would recommend the product. However, always think carefully as to whether you actually really need something before you buy it. We buy so many things nowadays that we don't really need.

Having bought this card to be used in Canon EOS 20D & 40D digital cameras they are extremely rapid and much better than the lower speed Sandisk Compact Flashes or other makes. The cameras have not as yet had to stop shooting to allow the card to catch up more

I received these speakers as a Birthday present in March from a friend. I was thrilled with them as I had been desperate for a docking station or speakers to play my iPod on.
